El nuevo Hospital Fraternidad-Muprespa Habana abre sus puertas en 2018. Situado en el Paseo de la Habana de Madrid y dedicado a la atención sanitaria del accidente de trabajo de sus empresas mutualistas, estará especializado en traumatología. El nuevo Hospital se situará en el centro de una red sanitaria que la Mutua mantiene en toda España para prestar asistencia a sus 1.240.000 trabajadores protegidos, mediante 122 centros asistenciales, siendo una referencia en cirugía traumatológica y en el tratamiento de casos muy complejos. El proyecto del nuevo Hospital de Fraternidad-Muprespa es de una gran envergadura, pues pretende conjugar varios factores que harán de él un entorno único: un edificio totalmente sostenible, dotado de la mejor tecnología, con un diseño funcional óptimo para pacientes y empleados; integrado en un entorno plenamente digital y con instalaciones suficientes para albergar la carga asistencial que genera la actividad de la Mutua. El Hospital está dotado con dos plantas de hospitalización, con un total de 50 habitaciones de uso individual; amplia zona de urgencias; un servicio de diagnóstico por la imagen dotado con resonancia magnética, tomografía axial computarizada, y radiología digital; un bloque con tres quirófanos de altas prestaciones, que incorporan el sistema de integración digital, y una central de esterilización; además, el Hospital tendrá una zona de rehabilitación para los pacientes hospitalizados, un bloque de 16 consultas externas y servicios de docencia e investigación. El proyecto del Hospital Fraternidad-Muprespa Habana pretende, desde sus inicios, construir un edificio singular desde el punto de vista medioambiental. The new Hospital will be at the heart of a healthcare network that the mutual company maintains all over Spain to provide care to the 1,240,000 workers it covers, through 122 medical centres, as a reference in trauma surgery and in the treatment of very complex cases. The new Hospital Fraternidad-Muprespa project is a large scale venture as it aims to combine several factors that will make it a unique environment: a completely sustainable building, equipped with the best technology, with an optimal functional design for patients and employees; integrated into a fully digital environment and with sufficient facilities to accommodate the healthcare demands of the activity of the mutual company. The Hospital is equipped with two in-patient floors, with a total of 50 private rooms; an extensive A&E area; an image diagnostics service equipped with magnetic resonance, computerised axial tomography and digital radiography; and a block with three high performance operating theatres, incorporating the digital integration system and a sterilisation plant. In addition, the Hospital will have a rehabilitation zone for in-patients, a block of 16 external consulting rooms as well as teaching and research services. From the outset, the Hospital Fraternidad-Muprespa Habana project aims to construct a unique building from the environmental point of view. For this, the most demanding standard in the world for the construction of new buildings was taken as a reference: LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design). This certification, maintained by the USGBC (United States Green Building Council), recognises excellence in the design, construction, operation and maintenance of buildings and installations from an environmental standpoint. Un hospital sostenible y energéticamente eficiente, con una pretensión de ahorro del 44% del gasto energético, gracias a los 600 m2 de paneles fotovoltaicos, 120 m2 de paneles solares térmicos y 600 m2 de cubierta vegetal.
