Una recarga rápida gracias a su nueva batería de 40 kWh permite recuperar hasta el 80% en solo 40 minutos. El tren motriz eléctrico también genera 110 kW (150 CV) de potencia y 320 Nm de par, mejorando así la aceleración y el placer de conducir. El nuevo Nissan LEAF es, por el momento, el máximo exponente de la Conducción Inteligente de Nissan, que incluye el avanzado sistema ProPILOT, que facilita una conducción más segura y cómoda. Este sistema, usa la dirección, los frenos y el acelerador para ayudar al conductor en situaciones de conducción por un solo carril. En situaciones de tráfico lento, permite al nuevo LEAF desacelerar y parar de manera autónoma cuando el tráfico se detiene. El sistema volverá a reanudar la marcha y seguirá al coche de delante cuando el tráfico vuelva a fluir. En autopistas, permite mantener una velocidad de crucero o seguir al coche de delante si este va más lento, manteniendo además el coche dentro del carril. También incluye el sistema ProPILOT Park, para estacionar de manera totalmente autónoma, en batería o en paralelo. Además, el nuevoNissan LEAF también incorpora la revolucionaria tecnología e-Pedal, que transforma la manera de conducir y permite conducir con un solo pedal cuando se activa el e-pedal. El e-Pedal permite arrancar, acelerar, desacelerar y parar con solo modificar la presión sobre el pedal del acelerador. Cuando el acelerador queda totalmente liberado, los frenos hidráulicos y de fricción se activan completamente, parando completamente el coche y regenerando la energía de frenada para recargar la batería. El coche mantiene la posición incluso en pendientes, incrementando el confort de conducción. This system uses the steering, brakes and accelerator to help the driver in single lane driving situations. In slow-moving traffic, the new LEAF decelerates and automatically stops when the traffic comes to a standstill. The system restarts so that the car drives forwards when the traffic flow starts moving. On motorways, it is able to maintain cruising speed or follow the car in front at a preset distance, while keeping the car in its lane. It also includes the ProPILOT Park autonomous parking system, helping the driver park in parallel or at an angle. In addition, the new Nissan LEAF incorporates the revolutionary e-Pedal technology that transforms the driving style, enabling driving with just one pedal when the system is activated. The e-Pedal is able to brake, accelerate, slow down and stop by just changing the pressure applied to the accelerator pedal. When there is no pressure on the accelerator, the hydraulic and friction brakes activate, bringing the car to a complete stop and regenerating the braking energy to recharge the battery.
