FuturEnergy | Octubre October 2017 Iluminación Eficiente | Efficient Lighting www.futurenergyweb.es 63 Esta adaptabilidad se consigue gracias a la conectividad y al tratamiento de datos provenientes de la instalación de alumbrado, pero también proveniente de otros servicios urbanos o incluso de los mismos ciudadanos interaccionando con la instalación. Este nuevo alumbrado ya es una realidad, y veremos su implantación creciente en los próximos años, impulsado por la mayor concienciación de sostenibilidad energética y medioambiental, así como de la mayor necesidad por parte de la población de soluciones particularizadas a problemas o demandas diversas. En este sentido, la UE ha impulsado tendencias que vanmuchomás allá de la mera eficiencia energética y que se encaminan hacia el Human Centric Lighting. Un concepto de iluminación centrado en el ser humano y adaptado siempre a las necesidades de las personas con el objetivo de alcanzar un mayor rendimiento y bienestar para los usuarios. Estas nuevas directrices de la Unión Europea irán ligadas a una política de subvenciones para la renovación de alumbrado, como por ejemplo las del IDAE, que otorga ayudas a la renovación de alumbrado público. Pero, más allá de los incentivos públicos, no olvidemos que nuestro objetivo como industria y el objetivo de los gestores públicos o privados del servicio de alumbrado debe ser el compromiso con la calidad, la fiabilidad, la eficiencia tanto económica como energética y, sobre todo, el pensar en el ciudadano y sus necesidades cuando se planifique y ejecute un proyecto de alumbrado. Si miramos al futuro, y de acuerdo con la visión de la Unión Europea, tenemos que pensar ya mucho más allá de lo meramente the people for individual solutions to diverse demands and problems. As a result, the EU is supporting trends that go way beyond mere energy efficiency, paving the way for Human Centric Lighting. This is a lighting concept that focuses on the human being and which always adjusts to the needs of the individual with the aim of achieving enhanced performance and wellbeing for its users. These new EU directives go hand in hand with a subsidies policy to renew lighting installations, such as the support provided by the IDAE, the Institute for Energy Diversification and Saving, that awards funding for the renewal of street lighting. Public incentives apart, we must not forget that our objective as an industry and the aim of the public and private managers of the lighting service must be a commitment to quality, reliability, energy and economic efficiency and, above all, focus on the citizen and their needs when planning and implementing a lighting project. If we look ahead in line with the EU’s vision, we already have to think well beyond issues that solely relate to lighting to see that the world towards which we are heading is going to be dominated by sensorisation, digitalisation, the handling of data and its exchange in the cloud within the environment or ecosystem of the Internet of Things, where a large quantity of objects are interconnected. Within this not-so-futurist scenario, lighting in general and street lighting in particular, will play a prominent role by providing a suitable platform for the acquisition (sensors) of data, their transmission (communications networks), as well as their interaction with individuals and objects (applications and functionalities).
