Argentina tiene previsto generar más “energía verde” En diciembre de 2016, Grupo Nordex se adjudicó dos contratos de construcción de sendos parques eólicos con una capacidad de 148 MW. En La Castellana se instalarán 32 aerogeneradores de la serie AW125/3000, mientras que está previsto suministrar 15 unidades del mismo tipo al proyecto de Achiras. La construcción debería comenzar en el cuarto trimestre de 2017 y concluir antes del verano de 2018. En ambos parques eólicos, el cliente principal es un cliente nuevo, Central Puerto de Buenos Aires, uno de los mayores proveedores privados de energía del país, que desde su fundación, en 1992, ha operado principalmente centrales eléctricas convencionales e hidroeléctricas. Argentina es uno de los diez mercados más dinámicos del mundo, y está dando sus primeros pasos en la transición energética. De aquí a 2025, el país quiere cubrir con renovables el 25% de sus necesidades energéticas y apunta como primer paso llegar al 8% en 2018. En octubre de 2016, el Gobierno de Argentina concedió contratos por más de 1,1 GW, de los que 700 MW provendrán de proyectos eólicos. En noviembre, en la segunda ronda de licitación, se adjudicaron otros 600 MW, 400 de ellos asignados a energía eólica. Los pedidos de Grupo Nordex se remontan a la primera ronda de licitaciones para contratos de suministro de energía verde. Contrato de 168 MW en México Durante un tiempo, México ha sido uno de los mercados eólicos más importantes. Ya en septiembre de 2016, Acciona Energía, cliente del Grupo Nordex, le encargó construir el parque eólico El Cortijo. El proyecto, que comprende la instalación de 56 aerogeneradores AW125/3000, está situado en Tamaulipas, en el noreste de México, 40 km al sur de Reynosa. Grupo Nordex suministrará los aerogeneradores este año y el operador quiere poner en marcha el parque en 2018. Nordex’s orders go back to the first round of tenders for the supply of green power contracts. 168 MW contract in Mexico Mexico has been one of the most important markets for wind power for some time. In September 2016, its long-term customer, Acciona Energía, commissioned the Nordex Group to construct the El Cortijo wind farm. The project involves the installation of 56 units of the AW125/3000 wind turbine at Tamaulipas, in NE Mexico, 40 km south of Reynosa. The Nordex Group will deliver the equipment this year, and the operator wants to commission the plant in 2018. Once operational, the wind farm is expected to supply about 350,000 homes in the region with electricity. In the first tender round of 2016, Acciona Energía was awarded a contract to supply 585.7 MWh of electricity. The power utility aims to fulfil this contract with the El Cortijo wind farm. Good opportunities in Chile Chile is also one of the top 10 growth markets in the world, and the country has set itself clear targets to cover 20% of its energy needs from renewable energy sources by 2025, and at the same time, significantly bring down electricity prices.
