Podríamos mencionar como uno de los proyectos estrella el realizado con los hoteles de la cadena Starwood, donde cabe destacar el hotel W de Barcelona o de México DF. Pero Jung ha automatizado multitud de ellos con diferentes soluciones. En concreto en el proyecto del hotel W de México DF Jung implementó, entre otros productos, su sistema de control domótico KNX y mecanismos eléctricos de la serie LS 990 con acabado en aluminio. Además, gracias al uso de los avanzados termostatos KRMTS D de Jung, el W Mexico City logra la máxima eficiencia energética en el capítulo de climatización. Para 2017, Jung no prevé lanzar grandes novedades de producto en el segmento de la eficiencia energética para hoteles, las soluciones de control y de medición de consumos energéticos existen, se encuentran ya muy evolucionadas y al alcance de todo el mundo. Solamente es necesario conocerlas y aplicarlas. Sin embargo, Jung seguirá trabajando en la integración de sus sistemas con los sistemas de gestión del hotel. Seguir avanzando en esa dirección, es vital para conseguir sacar el máximo rendimiento de las soluciones Jung. Cómo especialista en eficiencia energética, en ahorro energético en definitiva, la compañía tiene un marcado enfoque hacia la sostenibilidad y el respeto por el medio ambiente, lo que queda reflejado en la calidad y proceso de fabricación de todos sus equipos. Por suerte la industria en general está bastante evolucionada en estos aspectos. Another key issue is the ease with which these solutions are implemented in efficient refurbishment projects. Jung offers different solutions, some cabled and others wireless. Naturally, the wireless solutions are relatively simple to implement in any refurbishment, no matter how superficial, however the control options are fairly limited to the settings control and little else. By contrast, the cabled system, the KNX, is far better designed to achieve good levels of comfort and energy saving. This can perform an improved control of the building, monitoring consumption, etc., but of course cables have to be accommodated and this implies a rather more comprehensive refurbishment. Jung has undertaken projects in many hotels worldwide, some with more automation and others with less. One of the outstanding projects worth mention was undertaken for the Starwood hotel chain, in particular theW hotels in Barcelona and Mexico DF. Jung has automated a number of them with different solutions. For the hotel W project in Mexico DF specifically, Jung installed, among other products, its KNX domotic control system and electronic devices from the LS 990 series, with an aluminium finish. Moreover, thanks to the use of Jung’s advanced KRM TS D thermostats, theWMexico City has achieved maximum energy efficiency in the HVAC area. For 2017, Jung does not expect to launch major product innovations for hotels in the energy efficiency segment; the energy consumption control and metering solutions already exist, are already very well developed and within the reach of everyone. All that is needed is to understand and apply them. However, Jung will continue working to integrate its systems into the hotel’s management systems. Continued progress in this direction is crucial to obtain the maximum benefit from Jung’s solutions. As a specialist in energy efficiency, specifically in energy saving, the company has a clear focus on sustainability and respect for the environment, a fact that is reflected in the quality and manufacturing process of all its products. These are 100% made in Germany, which means that they are subjected to the highest standards of quality and environmental protection. There are very demanding regulations in place that cover the entire process frommanufacture and storage to the destruction of the apparatus at the end of its useful life.
