Con esta idea enmente, el Hotel Renaissance Barcelona Fira ha implementado en su edificio la última tecnología para conseguir que sus 110 m de altura, 27 pisos y jardín vertical, seanmás eficientes. El Renaissance Barcelona Fira es unmoderno edificio diseñado por Jean Nouvel, que destaca por su frondosa vegetación. Un jardín vertical con casi 300 palmeras recorre el edificio permitiendo al visitante experimentar un concepto de estancia diferente. Gracias a sus 27 pisos, el hotel ofrece la posibilidad de descubrir Barcelona desde las alturas, con impresionantes vistas de una de las ciudades más impactantes de Europa. Las actuaciones realizadas comprenden los siguientes aspectos: • Monitorizar el hotel desde una plataforma digital. Para monitorizar todas las tecnologías de este amplio y complejo edificio, se ha instalado el sistema de gestión integrada Desigo Insight de Siemens. • Sistema de automatización que controla y gestiona hasta 850 puntos de datos. Incluye la producción de calor y frío, la distribución hacia unidades de tratamiento del aire de las áreas comunes y de aire primario, todo ello monitorizado mediante controladores del estándar KNX, integrado en el BMS Desigo. Además de regular el ACS (agua caliente sanitaria), el riego de los jardines y el llenado de la piscina, localiza dónde se producen los despilfarros para evitarlos y obtener así el máximo ahorro. • Protección contra incendios mediante control remoto. Un total 989 de detectores controlan el humo y el monóxido de carbono (CO), el sistema se completa con 135 sirenas de alarma (una por habitación incluida en el detector) y 85 botones de alarmas en los rellanos. Todas las sirenas de alarma están programadas para evacuar una planta a través de la detección automática (o la activación de BIE). With this idea in mind, the Renaissance Barcelona Fira Hotel has incorporated the latest technology into its 110-metre high building, with 27 floors and a vertical garden, to make it more efficient. The Renaissance Barcelona Fira is a modern building designed by Jean Nouvel. It features lush vegetation in the form of a vertical garden of around 300 palm trees, allowing guests experience a different concept in hotel accommodation. The building’s 27 storeys provide an opportunity to discover Barcelona from its top floors, affording amazing views of one of Europe’s most impressive cities. The measures undertaken include the following aspects: • Monitoring the hotel from a digital platform. To monitor all the technologies of this extensive and complex building, the Desigo Insight integrated building management system (BMS) from Siemens has been installed. • Automation system that controls and manages up to 850 data points. This includes the production of heating and cooling, distribution to the air conditioning units in the communal areas and primary air, all of which is monitored via KNX standard controllers, integrated into the Desigo BMS. Apart from regulating the DHW (domestic hot water), watering the gardens and filling the pool, the system identifies areas of wastage in order to avoid it and thereby achieve the maximum saving. • Remotely controlled fire protection. A total of 989 detectors control the smoke and carbon monoxide (CO). The system is rounded off with 135 alarm sirens (one per bedroom incorporated into the detector) and 85 alarm buttons on the landings. Every alarm siren is programmed to evacuate a floor by means of automatic detection (or fire extinguisher activation).
