Este equipo se planteó como apoyo para la producción del agua caliente sanitaria, generada mediante un sistema de recuperación a partir de una bomba de calor de condensación por aire. Sus reducidas dimensiones de 1,9 x 0,75 x 2,0 m (largo x ancho x alto) y peso en servicio de 700 kg, permitieron su fácil ubicación e instalación en la azotea del edificio, aprovechando la estructura ya prevista para las máquinas de climatización. Además, su izado fue muy sencillo ya que los equipos fabricados por ACV permiten su manipulación por la parte superior mediante grúa, gracias al robusto diseño de su estructura autoportante. Las calderas de condensación Prestige 100 instaladas dentro del equipo Prestige Box, además de su elevado rendimiento gracias al cuerpo de intercambio humos/agua fabricado en acero inoxidable y diseñado por ACV y al quemador modulante a partir del 15% de la potencia total, permiten una óptima y sencilla integración con sistemas de control externo o telegestión, mediante su conexión directa con protocolos de comunicación Modbus (tal como se utilizó en la instalación de referencia permitiendo una integración total con el resto de elementos de la instalación térmica). Conclusiones Los equipos autónomos ACV Box para instalar en exteriores y azoteas propuestos por ACV, son la solución ideal para cualquier tipología de instalación de calefacción y ACS, tanto por las múltiples posibilidades de fabricación según necesidades de la instalación, como por las compactas dimensiones que facilitan su ubicación en azoteas de reducidas dimensiones. El catálogo de soluciones ACV Box está disponible con tres gamas de generadores de calor de condensación de ACV, calderas murales de alta potencia Prestige en cascada, calderas de pie de alta potencia Compact Condens y generadores de doble servicio ACS/calefacción Heat Master TC con tecnología “Total Condensing”, con un rango de potencias disponibles de entre 68 a 1.200 kW. Proposed solution The solution involved the installation of a stand-alone Prestige Box 200 from ACV comprising two, highly efficient Prestige 100 wall-hung condensing boilers. This unit was designed to back up the production of domestic hot water, generated by means of a recovery system based on an air condensation heat pump. Its small dimensions of 1.9 x 0.75 x 2.0 m (length x width x height) and operating weight of 700 kg, meant that it was easy to position and install on the roof of the building, making use of the structure already in place for the HVAC units. It was also very easy to hoist into position as the tops of the units manufactured by ACV can be lifted by a crane, thanks to the robust design of their self-supporting structure. The Prestige 100 condensing boilers installed inside the Prestige Box unit are highly efficient thanks to the flue gas/water exchanger housing made of stainless steel and designed by ACV and the modulating burner based on 15% of the total output. They can also be easily integrated with remote management or external control systems, thanks to their direct connection with Modbus communication protocols (such as the ones used for this project thereby allowing full integration with every other component of the thermal installation). Conclusions The ACV Box stand-alone units for outdoor and rooftop installations offered by ACV are the ideal solution for any type of heating and DHW installation, both due to the numerous models available depending on the needs of the installation and their compact dimensions that make them easy to position on rooftops with limited space. The ACV Box catalogue of solutions is available in three ranges of heat condensing generators fromACV: high power Prestige wall-hung boilers in cascade; high power Compact Condens floor-standing boilers; and dual service DHW/ Heating Heat Master TC generators withTotal Condensing technology and an available range of outputs from68 to 1,200 kW. This can easily be adapted to any type of tertiary installation (residential buildings, gymnasiums, hotels, old people’s homes, industrial applications...), for both new builds and refurbishments.
