De este modo, Ingeteam ampliará su posicionamiento internacional en el sector solar, con el objetivo de crecer en ventas de producto y en actividad de operación y mantenimiento (OyM). Ingeteam cuenta con una experiencia de más de 16 años en el sector fotovoltaico, donde ha suministrado 5 GW de potencia a nivel mundial y se ha consolidado como empresa líder en prestación de servicios de OyM. Ingeteam fabrica una amplia gama de soluciones para el sector solar, ofreciendo inversores fotovoltaicos para aplicaciones residenciales, comerciales y de conexión a red, así como conjuntos integrados de media tensión e inversores de baterías para conexión a red y aislada. Con una base instalada de aproximadamente 3 GW, Bonfiglioli ostenta una importante cartera de proyectos para los próximos meses. En base a este acuerdo, Ingeteam absorbe el negocio solar de Bonfiglioli, incluyendo las actividades de OyM. Mediante esta operación, Ingeteam ha accedido a una importante cartera de proyectos fotovoltaicos y aumenta su negocio de servicios de OyM, sumando los 3 GW de Bonfiglioli a sus 7,2 GW de capacidad instalada en mantenimiento a nivel global. Apertura de dos nuevas Filiales: Reino Unido y Uruguay En lo que va de año, Ingeteam ha abierto dos nuevas filiales: Reino Unido (Londres) y Uruguay (Montevideo), ampliando así su presencia global a 19 países. On the basis of this agreement, Ingeteam takes over the Italian entity’s solar business, including its O&M activities. Thanks to this operation, Ingeteam has been able to access a significant PV projects pipeline and has increased its O&M services business, adding Bonfiglioli’s 3 GW to its 7,2 of installed capacity in maintenance contracts worldwide. Two new subsidiaries in the UK and Uruguay So far this year, Ingeteam has opened two new subsidiaries: UK (London) and Uruguay (Montevideo) thereby expanding its global presence to 19 countries. The company is expanding into the UK with O&M services projects for both the wind power and PV sectors, becoming the world’s main supplier of O&M services. The UK is one of the European countries with the highest level of commitment to renewables. Last year its installed capacity rose by 22% to 30 GW, of which 13.98 GW corresponds to wind power. It is worth highlighting the role played by the UK in the offshore renewables sector: by simply comparing the 8.84 GW installed onshore with the 5.09 GWof offshore wind power, the importance of this sector is set to increase in the coming years given the 4.54 GWof offshore wind power already under construction.
