Se ha migrado un sistema obsoleto a una nueva plataforma más estable y robusta, y el principal reto ha sido realizar este cambio sin interrupciones en el servicio. Además, la nueva plataforma puede ampliarse de forma rápida y sencilla para integrar instalaciones de terceros a corto plazo en España, Latinoamérica y Sudáfrica, así como atraer al despacho otras tecnologías susceptibles de ser reguladas por el operador del sistema. Vestas basa principalmente su actividad en el mercado español en torno al servicio de operación y mantenimiento para seguir siendo un referente en el sector. Gracias a su experiencia en la industria eólica y a los productos y servicios punteros que pone a disposición de sus clientes, es posible alargar la vida de las instalaciones, maximizar la producción de energía limpia, reducir el coste de la electricidad de los españoles y contribuir al cumplimiento de los objetivos europeos de cara a 2020. En este sentido, contar con un nuevo centro de control interlocutor del CECRE de REE era esencial para mejorar la eficiencia y aportar valor en las operaciones de los parques eólicos y aerogeneradores de la compañía. El nuevo centro de control ha sido posible gracias a la colaboración de los departamentos Remote Operations y Service de Vestas y los ingenieros de Green Eagle Solutions. Este centro, basado en tecnología CompactSCADA® Central Energy Control, cubre los requisitos de adquisición de datos, despacho delegado, monitorización y telemando de las instalaciones y máquinas conectadas. Además, comprueba si la producción se ajusta a las previsiones y permite el envío y seguimiento de consignas de regulación de potencia, según los requerimientos marcados por REE. Green Eagle Solutions ha instalado un clúster de alta disponibilidad con el objetivo de asegurar que el centro de control siempre está conectado y disponible para REE, y gracias a la flexibilidad de la tecnología se han adaptado las instalaciones rápidamente a la normativa P.O.9. Thanks to its experience in the wind industry and in the cutting-edge products and services offered to its clients, it is possible to prolong the life of the installations, maximise the production of clean energy, reduce the cost of electricity for Spanish customers and contribute to meeting Europe’s 2020 objectives. In this regard, being able to benefit from a new interface control centre from the REE’s CECRE was essential to improve efficiency and add value to the operations of the company’s wind farms and turbines. The new control centre has been made possible thanks to the collaboration of Vestas’ Remote Operations and Service departments and Green Eagle Solutions’ team of engineers. This centre, based on CompactSCADA® Energy Control Centre technology, covers the requirements for data acquisition, dispatching agent, monitoring and remote control of the facilities and its connected machines. Moreover, it checks to see if production is in line with forecasts and allows the sending and tracking of power regulation signals, according to the requirements established by REE.
