Este sistema centralizado, denominadoDesigo, controla todas las instalaciones mecánicas y eléctricas troncales de Torre Sevilla, como son los sistemas de climatización, alumbrado, presurización de escaleras, contadores de energía, detección de incendios y contra incendios. De igual forma, este es un sistema capaz de contabilizar los consumos de energía eléctrica, iluminación y climatización en todas las plantas del inmueble. Todo ello se realiza desde un control principal ubicado en la planta plaza de la Torre y un puesto secundario de apoyo en el aparcamiento del complejo. Estos dos puestos de gestión se nutren de 60.000 puntos de control, que son gestionados por numerosos controladores PX comunicados a través de la tecnología Bacnet/IP y un anillo de fibra óptica ejecutado por Siemens. Mención especial merece el control de iluminación de Torre Sevilla , que permite un reparto más eficiente de los consumos eléctricos y que es imprescindible para la obtención de la Certificación Leed, la firma líder en el mundo en la calificación medioambiental de edificios. Gracias a este sistema, Torre Sevilla se ha convertido en el único inmueble de toda Andalucía que cuenta con la calificación Leed Gold, una de las más elevadas que otorga la certificadora. Otra de las características novedosas que incorpora el sistema de Siemens es el control de los sistemas de presurización de las cajas de escaleras y de los huecos de ascensores y de los propias plantas de oficina. En caso de incendio, desde el control central se actúa sobre los sistemas de ventilación para inyectar sobrepresión y aislar los humos, lo que reduce cualquier tipo de riesgo por inhalación. CaixaBank, propietario del inmueble, también ha elegido el sistema Desigo por su capacidad de integración de otros sistemas con protocolos standard (KNX, Dali,...), que permite incorporar futuras implementaciones de sistemas de terceras empresas. Another of the innovative features incorporated into the Siemens system is the control of the pressurisation systems in the stair wells and lift shafts as well as the office floors themselves. In the event of fire, the central control activates the ventilation systems to inject excess pressure and isolate the smoke, thereby reducing any type of risk of inhalation. CaixaBank also opted for the Desigo system due to its ability to integrate into other systems that use standard protocols (KNX, Dali...), so that system developments from third party companies can be incorporated in future.
