La nueva norma, que emana de la Directiva 2012/27/UE de Eficiencia Energética, exige a las grandes empresas, de más de 250 empleados o una facturación anual de más de 50 M€, la realización de una auditoría energética antes del 14 de noviembre. ENERGY EFFICIENCY, AN OPPORTUNITY FOR COMPANIES TO BOOST COMPETITIVENESS AND SUSTAINABILITY Last February marked the approval of Royal Decree 56/2016 that aims to stimulate energy efficiency, reducing Spain’s energy consumption and energy dependence. The new ruling that stems from Energy Efficiency Directive 2012/27 / EU requires large companies with more than 250 employees or an annual turnover of over €50m, to undertake an energy audit before 14 November.
