Noticias | News www.futurenergyweb.es 10 FuturEnergy | Abril April 2016 México, CFE y Senado firman convenio de eficiencia e instalan dos electrolineras Mexico’s CFE and Senate sign an efficiency agreement and install two charging stations El Director General de la Comisión Federal de Electricidad (CFE), Dr. Enrique Ochoa Reza; el Presidente de la Mesa Directiva del Senado, el Senador Roberto Gil Zuarth, y el Presidente de la Junta de Coordinación Política, el Senador Emilio Gamboa Patrón, firmaron el pasado 27 de abril un convenio de colaboración que permitirá estrechar la relación entre la CFE y el Senado para promover el cuidado del medio ambiente. Como parte de este acuerdo, las dos instituciones inauguraron dos electrolineras. La primera se encuentra en el estacionamiento del edificio del recinto legislativo, y en ella podrán recargar sus vehículos eléctricos o híbridos quienes colaboran en el recinto o visitan sus instalaciones. La segunda se ubica cerca del Senado. Ambas estaciones de recarga son universales, lo que significa que todas las marcas de automóviles híbridos y eléctricos podrán utilizarlas. Estas electrolineras permitirán la recarga de los vehículos eléctricos en un lapso de entre 3 y 4 horas, 1,5 horas en el caso de los híbridos. Es importante recalcar que los usuarios no tendrán que pagar por utilizarlas, ya que el coste de la energía eléctrica será cubierto gracias al ahorro de energía que el Senado de la República logra con el programa Senado Sustentable. El año pasado, la CFE participó en la instalación de 10 electrolineras públicas, y se tiene previsto impulsar la instalación de 30 más durante 2016. A nivel nacional actualmente existen 364 estaciones de recarga para automóviles eléctricos e híbridos. El segundo ámbito de colaboración previsto en el convenio contempla mejorar la eficiencia energética en las instalaciones del Senado. Para ello, personal de CFE realizará un estudio técnico e identificará acciones concretas a fin de reducir el consumo de energía eléctrica en este edificio. Part of this agreement includes the inauguration of two charging stations. The first is situated in the car park of the legislative area providing employees and visitors to the installations the facility to charge up their EVs or hybrid vehicles. The second is located close to the Senate building. Both charging stations are universal which means that they can be used by every make of electric and hybrid vehicle. These charging stations can charge EVs within a 3-4 hour period or 1.5 hours in the case of hybrid vehicles. It is important to stress that users will not have to pay to use this service as the cost of the electricity will be covered thanks to the energy saving achieved by the Senate of the Republic under its Sustainable Senate programme. In 2015, the CFE took part in the installation of 10 public charging stations and expects to promote the installation of a further 30 this year. There are currently 364 charging stations in existence for electric and hybrid cars at national level. The second area of collaboration covered by the agreement focuses on the improvement of energy efficiency at the Senate’s installations. For this, CFE personnel will undertake a technical study and identify specific actions to reduce the building’s energy consumption.
