Fundación Ecolec trata de llegar, a lo largo de los doce meses del año, a nuevos grupos de población gracias a la colaboración de gobiernos regionales, locales y entidades privadas. ¿El objetivo de las acciones? Poner en un primer plano la lucha contra el Cambio Climático y la protección del Medio Ambiente a través del reciclaje. El año ha empezado con la celebración, por primera vez, de #GreenCampus. Se trata un proyecto de formación a distancia en materia de RAEE dirigido a los profesionales del sector, tanto de las distintas administraciones públicas como de la empresa privada. Del mismo modo, la #GreenWeek22, se celebra en primavera y otoño, recorriendo por sexto año diferentes ciudades del país para trasladar a la ciudadanía la importancia de depositar, en los lugares establecidos para ello, los aparatos eléctricos y electrónicos. La #GreenWeek22 permite acercar la labor de ECOLEC a la ciudadanía y resolver todas las dudas que puedan tener sobre el modelo de Economía Circular y la importancia de depositar los aparatos eléctricos y electrónicos que ya no usan para su correcto reciclaje. Con #GreenLeague también se llega a la ciudadanía, pero a través de los centros de trabajo. Se trata de una liga no competitiva entre empresas e instituciones que se unen al reciclaje responsable de RAEE durante casi tres meses. A través de diferentes formaciones, se difunden las ventajas y la importancia de reciclar aparatos eléctricos y electrónicos para el Medio Ambiente. Este mismo formato se ha implementado en los centros escolares con #GreenLeagueJunior. También se trata de una liga no competitiva entre colegios para fomentar la correcta gestión de aquellos pequeños aparatos eléctricos y electrónicos que han quedado inservibles, tanto en casa como en los propios centros. Por último, también destaca dentro del ecosistema #Green, el proyecto #GreenShop. Más de 1.000 establecimientos especializados en venta de electrodomésticos, de toda la geografía nacional, se han adherido a esta iniciativa que, desde 2017, pone en valor la gestión ambiental responsable de los residuos derivados de la actividad comercial que realizan estos establecimientos. The aim of the actions? To put the fight against climate change and environmental protection at the forefront of the agenda, through recycling. The year has kicked off with the first edition of #GreenCampus, a distance training project on WEEE aimed at professionals in the sector from different public authorities and private companies. #GreenWeek22, held in spring and autumn, will, for the sixth year, tour different cities around Spain to inform citizens of the importance of depositing electrical and electronic equipment at the locations established for this purpose. #GreenWeek22 brings the work of ECOLEC closer to the people and provides themwith the answers to any queries they may have about the Circular Economy and the importance of depositing electrical and electronic equipment that they no longer use for correct recycling. #GreenLeague also reaches out to the public, but through the workplace. It takes the form of a non-competitive league that lasts for almost for three months, with the participation of companies and institutions wishing to collaborate in responsible WEEE recycling. Different training sessions are held to convey the environmental benefits of recycling electrical and electronic equipment, and the importance of this for the environment. The same format has been implemented in schools in the form of #GreenLeagueJunior. This is a non-competitive league between schools to encourage the correct management of small electrical and electronic devices that have become unusable, both in the home and in schools. Finally, the #GreenShop project is another noteworthy initiative within the #Green ecosystem. More than 1,000 establishments specialising in the sale of household appliances throughout Spain have joined this initiative which, since 2017, has focused on the responsible environmental management of the waste produced as a result of the commercial activity of these establishments. Thanks to all these initiatives, citizens are gradually integrating recycling into their lifestyles, becoming aware of the importance of recycling and incorporating it into their daily routines to reduce environmental impact.
