De carácter cuatrienal, acaba de cerrarse el tercero de ellos, con vigencia hasta 2021. A lo largo de estos doce años se han implementado más 7.200 medidas de prevención e innovación que han permitido comercializar más de 743.600 t de aceites industriales con una mayor vida útil y más de 19.400 t de lubricantes biodegradables. La entidad arranca ahora el cuarto de estos Planes para seguir impulsando medidas que hagan de los lubricantes productos cada vez más respetuosos con el medio ambiente y una gestión de su residuo cada día más sostenible. Las empresas dedicadas a la fabricación de aceites industriales llevan años trabajando para avanzar en el desarrollo de productos más duraderos, eficientes y sostenibles a través de importantes inversiones en I+D+i y el esfuerzo de implantar y desarrollar políticas de prevención activas en materia de aceites industriales. Los resultados obtenidos durante más de una década de trabajo en esta línea por parte de SIGAUS y sus empresas adheridas dejan constancia de este importante compromiso ambiental por parte del sector y el trabajo realizado para el impulso, seguimiento y control de estos Planes cuatrianuales que han permitido acumular cifras muy importantes hasta el cierre del tercero de ellos, en 2021, en el que han participado 228 empresas que han declarado un total de 2.780 nuevas acciones de prevención desde el comienzo del Plan en 2018. Hasta la fecha, y a las puertas de ponerse en marcha el IV Plan Empresarial de Prevención de SIGAUS este 2022, con vigencia hasta 2025, las empresas de SIGAUS han trabajado para implementar más de 7.200 medidas de prevención, consiguiendo con ello la comercialización de más de 743.600 t de aceites industriales con una mayor vida útil, casi 1.100 t de aceite específico para técnicas de microlubricación, incluyendo el desarrollo de nuevos equipos y sistemas que permitan la microdosificación, 23.500 t de lubricantes mejorados para facilitar la gestión final de su residuo, casi 188.400 t de bases regeneradas utilizadas en la formulación de nuevos aceites y la comercialización de más de 19.400 t de aceites biodegradables. Seguimiento e impulso para acompañar a las empresas Todas estas medidas implementadas, así como los datos y resultados declarados por las empresas participantes, han sido validadas con su correspondiente documentación de forma previa a su inclusión en los resultados finales de estos Planes Empresariales de Prevención, que contemplan 7 líneas de actuación, relacionadas con aspectos como el desarrollo de nuevos aceites y procesos que contribuyan a una mayor duración del lubricante, la introducción de mejoras en aparatos, equipos y vehículos, nuevos lubricantes que faciliten la gestión final del aceite usado, la utilización de bases regeneradas o recicladas SIGAUS has had its Prevention Business Plans (PEP) in place since 2010. The work associated with the promotion, monitoring and control of these four-yearly Plans has led to the achievement of very significant figures, right up to the conclusion of the third Plan in 2021. This third Plan featured the participation of 228 companies, which took a total of 2,780 new prevention actions since the Plan began in 2018.
