No es que a los catalanes nos guste pagar (como a nadie), pero si vamos a hacerlo que tenga como objetivo mejoras en el sector para minimizar lo que va a vertedero. Tal y como plantea el gobierno central el nuevo canon, vamos a seguir pagando, pero sin un retorno y eso si que es desastroso. La transparencia en el destino de nuestros impuestos para un beneficio común debería ser incuestionable. Si pudiera hacer una petición para el año 2022, pediría que el legislador pase un mínimo de 2 días en una planta de gestión de residuos, viendo su operativa, siendo consciente de la realidad y que, si hay modelos de gestión que funcionan, que los dejen avanzar. Que los recojan como modelo, no que los centralicen sin finalidad. Armonización si, pero impuestos que no sabemos dónde van o para que sirven no. Pensemos a largo plazo, que el pan para hoy es hambre para mañana y ya hace unos días que vamos por el mundo como para haber interiorizado esto. n The same is true of the single-use plastic tax.
