For the Loja WWTP, we supplied a high-performance screening system consisting of 3 Meva RotoScreen RS29-100-5 selfcleaning step screens: 1m wide, almost 3m high and with a space of 5mm between bars. Meva Rotoscreens have very low head loss, resulting in the highest relative capacity of any screen type on the market. During operation, they maintain an exact slot width thanks to robust bar fixing and intermediate spacers. These screens are resistant to sand, and an innovative system allows them to pivot in order to facilitate maintenance activities.
