For over 40 years Drago Electrónica has specialised in the design and manufacture of equipment for the separation, removal and/or sorting of metals for the protection of shredding machinery and/or end product enhancement. Two different electromagnetic overband models, the ODEP-7 (working width of 2m) and the ODEP-9 (working width of 2.19 m) were installed at the “Las Marinas” Integrated Waste Treatment Centre (Campello, Alicante). These electromagnets feature a large magnetic field and have been coupled to a structure to transform them into a conveyor belt, meaning that the unit is automatically cleaned. The result is that the electromagnet is always clean, thereby ensuring correct separation of ferrous metals. Desde hace más de 40 años Drago Electrónica se dedica al diseño y fabricación de equipos para la separación, eliminación y/o clasificación demetales para la protección demaquinaria de trituración y/o mejora del producto final. En el Centro de Tratamiento Integral de Residuos “Las Marinas” (Campello, Alicante) se han instalado dos modelos diferentes de overband con electroimán, modelos ODEP-7 (con un ancho de banda de trabajo de 2m) y ODEP-9 (ancho de banda de trabajo de 2,19 m) . Se trata de electroimanes con un gran campo magnético, a los cuales se le ha acoplado una estructura para convertirlo en cinta transportadora, lo cual hace que el equipo sea de limpieza automática y de este modo el electroimán siempre este limpio, permitiendo además una correcta separación de los materiales férricos.
