Bergisch Gladbach. El probado sistema de compostaje de Sutco «Wendelin - the new generation» está ahora disponible en una nueva serie de modelos. Esta es la respuesta del fabricante de plantas Sutco RecyclingTechnik GmbH a la creciente demanda mundial de un método de tratamiento aeróbico eficaz para residuos biológicos que también puede utilizarse con niveles de rendimiento muy elevados. El proceso de compostaje optimizado se lleva a cabo en una única nave de descomposición que consta de varias pilas de sección trapezoidal con transiciones fluidas. De esta forma se garantiza el aprovechamiento óptimo de toda la superficie de descomposición. Una vez a la semana, la Wendelin de Sutco traslada todo el material que se encuentra en la nave de descomposición. La máquina volteadora funciona según el principio de una excavadora de rueda de cangilones: el material en descomposición es recogido por los cangilones, volteado y apilado de nuevo a unos metros de distancia. Mediante el desplazamiento y la ventilación, la Wendelin crea las mejores condiciones para el desarrollo eficaz de los procesos de descomposición biológica. Además, un sistema de irrigación integrado garantiza permanentemente el nivel óptimo de humedad del material. A través del suelo de ventilación seccional situado debajo de toda la nave de descomposición, se consigue una circulación de aire económica mediante un sistema de regulación inteligente. El agua de proceso también se drena y se recoge a través de este suelo de ventilación. LA SUTCO-WENDELIN SE CARACTERIZA POR SU FLEXIBILIDAD Y SENCILLEZ Con la realización de la nueva serie demodelos, el fabricante de plantas consiguió aumentar la capacidad de 20.000 a 100.000 Mg/a. Mediante la combinación de varias líneas de tratamiento, la Wendelin alcanza un nivel de rendimiento máximo de 400.000 Mg/a. Otra ventaja del sistemamodular es el ampliomargen de diseño que tienen los operadores de las plantas. De este modo, es posible encontrar soluciones prácticas, especialmente para espacios limitados. La flexibilidad del proceso también queda demostrada por la amplia gama de aplicaciones: además de los típicos residuos orgánicos y de origen vegetal, la Wendelin también procesa restos de fermentación y materia orgánica de los residuos domésticos. This is the response of plant manufacturer Sutco RecyclingTechnik GmbH to the growing global demand for an efficient aerobic treatment method for biowaste that can also be used with very high throughputs. The optimised composting process is carried out in a single composting hall consisting of several windrows that merge together without clear boundaries. This ensures optimum utilisation of the entire composting area. Once a week, the Sutco Wendelin turns all the material in the composting hall. The turning machine works on the principle of a bucket wheel excavator: the material for composting is picked up by the buckets, turned and piled up again a few metres away. Through displacement and aeration, the Wendelin creates the best conditions for the biological decomposition processes. Moreover, an integrated irrigation system ensures that the moisture content of the material is maintained at an optimal level throughout the process. A sectionally-arranged aeration floor installed under the entire composting area and an intelligent control system ensure a cost-effective airflow. Process water is also drained and collected through this aeration floor. THE SUTCO-WENDELIN OFFERS A HIGH LEVEL OF FLEXIBILITY AND SIMPLICITY With the introduction of their new series, Sutco has succeeded in achieving an increase in capacity of between 20,000 and 100,000 Mg/a. By combining several different treatment lines, the Wendelin can achieve a maximum throughput of 400,000 Mg/a. A further advantage of this modular system is the amount of freedom of design that it gives the operator. In particular, it allows workable solutions to be found in situations where space is at a premium. The flexibility of the process is also demonstrated in the wide range of possible applications: as well as typical organic waste and green waste, the Wendelin can also process fermentation residues and organic matter from household waste. It can also be used in a completely biological drying process known as bio-drying. The prerequisite for all the applications is that the starting material needs to be mechanically broken down to a granule size of < 180 mm and, in some circumstances, structural material may have to be added. TURNING MACHINE ENSURES EFFICIENT AND ECO-FRIENDLY OPERATIONS The high level of automation of the Wendelin enables consistently efficient operation. A conveyor system feeds the material into the process and spreads it out. The Sutco-Wendelin is also used to discharge the finished product. The innovative plant control system used to oversee the entire process allows the system to be run 24/7 with minimal staffing requirements. Operating staff are only needed to monitor the system or if there is a malfunction.
