Se trata de una válvula de acometida domiciliaria para agua potable con uniones extremas roscadas, garantizada para una presión de funcionamiento admisible de 16 bar. De servicio todo o nada, cuenta con un cuerpo de fundición dúctil revestido de epoxi 250µm, compuerta vulcanizada de EPDM y eje de maniobra de acero inoxidable AISI 42. Como característica principal destaca su resistente sistema de cierre asegurando una estanqueidad total. Una de las novedades para el mercado es que hay dos modelos disponibles: • Válvula de derivación horizontal: gama DN 20 - 3/4” hasta DN 50 - 2”. • Válvula de derivación vertical: gama desde 1” hasta 2” con diferentes salidas. Entre sus ventajas, al tratarse de una válvula de corte, a la hora de realizar cualquier intervención o una operación de mantenimiento en la red permite interrumpir en cualquier momento el servicio para facilitar así los trabajos que deban realizarse. Como parte de las garantías de calidad que siempre tiene presente Saint-Gobain PAM, la válvula de acometida QP se prueba de forma unitaria en fábrica, según las normas EN 1074 y EN 12266. Se somete a una prueba de resistencia y estanqueidad del cuerpo a 1.5 veces la PFA (válvula abierta) y a otra prueba de estanqueidad a ambos lados del obturador a 1.1 veces la PFA (válvula cerrada). SAINT-GOBAIN PAM LAUNCHES NEW QP DOMESTIC DRINKING WATER VALVE Saint-Gobain PAM has launched the QP domestic drinking water shut-off valve, and has published an information sheet with the details of all aspects of these types of valves, ranging from the field of application to the references and dimensions of each of the models. The QP domestic drinking water valve features threaded joint ends to guarantee a maximum allowable working pressure of 16 bar. These valves are designed for fully open or fully closed service and feature a ductile iron body with a 250µm epoxy coating, vulcanized EPDM gate and AISI 42 stainless steel drive shaft. An outstanding feature of the valve is its robust closing system, which ensures complete watertightness. Two models of the QP valve have been launched on the market: • Horizontal bypass valve: from DN 20 - 3/4” to DN 50 - 2”. • Vertical bypass valve: from 1” to 2”with different outlets. One of the main benefits of this shut-off valve is that it can be used to interrupt the service at any time to facilitate network maintenance or repair operations. As part of the quality guarantees always provided by SaintGobain PAM, each QP shut-off valve is factory-tested in accordance with the EN 1074 and EN 12266 Standards. The valve undergoes a resistance and watertightness test at 1.5 times the MAWP (open position) and another test on both sides of the seal ring at 1.1 times the MAWP (closed position). Tests which it passes with flying colours, needless to say.
