Nueve empresas españolas ya disponen del distintivo que premia la labor de aquellos emprendedores que luchan y se sacrifican para desarrollar nuevos proyectos con gran potencial y capacidad para conseguir y acelerar la transición hacia la economía circular. El emprendimiento es, y ha sido siempre, una enorme fuente de mejora para la sociedad en su conjunto, ofreciéndonos las ideas y las herramientas necesarias para poder avanzar y adaptarnos a los cambios que se han ido sucediendo a lo largo de los años. Por eso el pasado 16 de abril, DíaMundial del Emprendimiento, TheCircularLab, el centro de innovación abierta en materia de economía circular de Ecoembes, presentó goCircular Pass, el sello con el que busca reconocer el trabajo de aquellos emprendedores que luchan y se sacrifican para desarrollar nuevos proyectos con gran potencial y capacidad para conseguir y acelerar la transición hacia la economía circular. El reconocimiento y la visibilidad son factores clave para fomentar y promover el espíritu emprendedor en nuestro país, así como para seguir trabajando en la búsqueda de un modelo de sociedad más responsable y sostenible para el planeta. Y es por ello que TheCircularLab ha creado goCircular Pass, para ofrecer a estas startups la posibilidad de destacar dentro de una comunidad emprendedora en el sector de la economía circular y brindar la oportunidad, a todas aquellas que lo consigan, de asistir y participar en eventos especializados con actores clave del sector. La solicitud del sello es completamente gratuita y los requisitos para poder optar a él serán formar parte de una startup que esté ya constituida y tenga una antigüedad inferior a 10 años, disponer de un elevado nivel de innovación en sus productos o en su modelo de negocio, ofrecer una cartera de soluciones o productos que contribuyan o puedan contribuir a la economía circular y aportar la documentación acreditativa que demuestre la capacidad de la TheCircularLab has created the first seal to recognise the work of the best circular economy entrepreneurs. For this reason, TheCircularLab, Ecoembes’ centre for open innovation in the circular economy, presented goCircular Pass on April 16, World Entrepreneurship Day. goCircular Pass is the seal with which Ecoembes seeks to recognise the work of those entrepreneurs who fight and make sacrifices to develop new projects with great potential and capacity to promote and accelerate the transition to the circular economy. Recognition and visibility are key factors in fostering and promoting entrepreneurship in Spain, and in the quest to achieve a more responsible and sustainable model of society for the planet. TheCircularLab has created goCircular Pass to offer startups the possibility of standing out within the circular economy entrepreneurial community. It also provides successful startups with the opportunity to attend and participate in specialised events with key players in the sector. Applying for the seal is completely free of charge and it is open to entrepreneurs with startups that are already established and less than 10 years old, have a high level of innovation in terms of products or business models, offer a portfolio of solutions or products that contribute or can contribute to the circular economy and can provide supporting documentation that demonstrates the ability of the startup to add value to circularity. In addition, the startup must belong to goCircular Radar, the map of the most innovative startups in the circular economy sector. Nine Spanish startups have already been awarded this distinction thanks to their innovative projects and their contribution to creating a more sustainable future: Matmap, BlueRoom Innovation, CMplastik, Liight, SpectralGeo, Piperlab, Eficen, Pixelabs and RDNest. A committee created by TheCircularLab, made up of experts with extensive experience in the field of circular economy, is in charge of evaluating all applications and making the final decision on the awarding of the goCircular Pass. “At TheCircularLab, we have been working since 2017 to promote and encourage entrepreneurial projects dedicated to the circular economy, and providing the necessary tools and resources to do so.
