Para el proyecto Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Scheme (KLIS), WEG ha construido el motor eléctrico más grande jamás fabricado por WEG India, un ambicioso proyecto de ingeniería. Para abordar la situación de escasez de agua en Telangana, una región muy seca en el sur del país, India ha construido el proyecto de riego por elevación más grande del mundo denominado Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Scheme (KLIS).
