Sensibilización empresas fabricantes de fertilizantes Además de la labor diaria de recogida y gestión de los residuos, nuestro sistema abordará en 2021 importantes retos. El más inmediato es sensibilizar a las empresas de fertilizantes, bioestimulantes y nutricionales a que adhieran sus envases de forma voluntaria a SIGFITO, así no sólo contribuyen a que los agricultores, que son sus clientes, puedan reciclar fácilmente estos envases, además mejoran el medio ambiente, y la imagen de su empresa al vincular su marca con la protección de la naturaleza. A día de hoy, sólo los fabricantes de fitosanitarios están obligados a adherir sus envases a SIGFITO, no será hasta el 1 de enero de 2025 cuando la Directiva Europea de Envases obligue a todos los fabricantes a adherir sus envases a un sistema de Responsabilidad Ampliada del Productor como SIGFITO. Nosotros solicitamos al MITECO adelantar la obligatoriedad a todos los insumos agrarios, ya que carece de sentido que sólo los fitosanitarios estén obligados y el resto de productos no. A pesar de la normativa, son muchas las empresas que desde 2013 están decidiendo adelantarse al marco legal y no esperar hasta 2025 para adherir sus envases y ofrecer una solución definitiva a los agricultores que consumen sus productos, y que necesitan ya reciclar sus envases en los puntos de SIGFITO. Es el caso de FERTIEX, Tierras del Palancia, Fertiberia Tech DVA, ANDERMAT Biocontrol, PROBODELT, BIORIZON BIOTECH, HAIFA, BIOCOLOR IBERIA, IAB y Alltech, compañías que se unieron a SIGFITO durante el 2020 y que entienden que el crecimiento económico va ligado al medio ambiente, un valor al alza en el seno de los proyectos de Resposabilidad Social Corporativa que muchas compañías están desarrollando hoy en día. Saben también que más del 60% de sus envases serán reciclados. Proyecto Guía de Gestión de residuos agrarios Inevitablemente la palabra residuos para cualquier persona está asociada a la basura, a todo aquello que debemos desechar y que ya no es útil. Sin embargo desde hace años el sector ambiental ha trasformado el mensaje de los residuos: se trata de convertir un problema en una oportunidad. Al gestionar los no sólo cuidamos del medio ambiente, sino que además podemos generar empleo y riqueza: economía circular.
