Sin embargo, contar con un solo reactor obliga a parar el proceso para el mantenimiento del sistema de aireación. Para evitar este inconveniente la empresa alemana Invent propone las parrillas extraíbles E-FLEX®, una solución sencilla que consiste en módulos de difusores tubulares de EPDM montados sobre un bastidor de acero inoxidable y fijados a unos lastres con un útil de izado que permite introducir y extraer los módulos fácilmente con la ayuda de una grúa sin necesidad de vaciar el tanque. En las plantas de Ahigal y Zarza de Granadilla, Iberospec (distribuidor exclusivo de Invent en España y Portugal) suministró 6 módulos E-FLEX® con 18 membranas y agrupados de dos en dos para satisfacer las necesidades de oxigeno y adaptarse a la geometría de ambos reactores. Cada uno de estos módulos es alimentado mediante una manguera flexible de EPDM reforzado que se conecta al colector principal de aire a través de una válvula de bola. However, implementing just a single reactor means that the process must be interrupted in order to carry out maintenance on the aeration system. To circumvent this problem, German company Invent offers E-FLEX® liftable grids, a simple solution consisting of tubular EPDM diffuser modules mounted on a stainless steel grid and anchored to a hoisting mechanism that enables the modules to be inserted and extracted easily with the aid of a crane, without requiring the tank to be emptied. Iberospec (exclusive distributor for Invent in Spain and Portugal) supplied the Ahigal and Zarza de Granadilla plants with 6 E-FLEX® modules featuring 18 membranes grouped in pairs to meet oxygen needs and adapt to the geometry of the two reactors. Each of the modules is fed by a flexible reinforced EPDM tube connected to the main air supply pipe by means of a ball valve.
