Sorteos de productos relacionados con la movilidad sostenible (patinetes eléctricos, bicicletas etc.), donaciones a ONG y proyectos locales, contribuciones a causas sociales o a mejorar su entorno más cercano. De esta manera, aquellos ciudadanos que ya sean recicladores con anterioridad agradecerán que ese hábito que ya tan interiorizado tienen pueda reportarles una recompensa más allá del seguir cuidando del medioambiente. Asimismo, se conseguirá que aquellas personas que todavía no estén acostumbradas a reciclar de manera continuada se movilicen y comiencen a hacerlo motivados por este sistema de recompensas sociales y ambientales. Además de una mejora de la eficiencia de los sistemas de recogida, basado en la participación ciudadana, RECICLOS mejora la trazabilidad de los residuos de envases, en línea con Plan de Acción de Economía Circular de la UE, desde el ciudadano hasta las plantas de selección y tratamiento. Tras un exitoso periodo el año pasado en el que se realizaron pruebas piloto en algunos municipios catalanes, este sistema de SDR es ya una realidad en distintas localidades de Cataluña, Islas Baleares, La Rioja, Aragón, Región de Murcia, la Comunidad de Madrid Andalucía y Comunidad Valenciana. Asimismo, también con el 2021 ya en el horizonte, se espera que este sistema esté implantado en todas y cada una de las Comunidades Autónomas, de manera que se convierta en una tecnología con la que la mayor parte de los ciudadanos españoles estén familiarizados. Además de poder recibir recompensas por reciclar en los contenedores amarillos, una de las novedades que presenta RECICLOS es la instalación, de aquí a final de año, de más de 100 máquinas de reciclaje con esta tecnología implantada en centros comerciales, de ocio y estaciones de transporte. Sin ir más lejos, ya se han instalado máquinas en 15 estaciones de Ferrocarrils en el Área Metropolitana de Barcelona. Gracias a estas máquinas, los ciudadanos no solo reciclarán los envases generados en el propio hogar, sino que se fomentará también el poder reciclar las latas y botellas de plástico de bebidas que consumen en aquellos otros lugares donde pasamos una buena parte de nuestro tiempo. Es a través de innovaciones como RECICLOS cuando se logra, de manera participativa, colaborativa y ciudadana, cerrar el círculo del que venimos hablando. No hay futuro sostenible sin circularidad, es decir, sin tener por bandera una filosofía y una manera de actuar basada en la reutilización y en la segunda vida de los envases de los que hacemos uso en el día a día. De la misma manera, no hay futuro sostenible sin conciencia ciudadana. Y es ahí precisamente donde entra RECICLOS; en lograr entender al ciudadano de a pie, conectado y digitalizado constantemente, para que incorpore el hábito de reciclar a su rutina diaria de una manera que le resulta familiar y sencilla y que, además, le reporte unos beneficios sociales y medioambientales, que hagan mejorar el entorno del que todos formamos parte. projects, contributions to social causes or the improvement of the local environment. And this is precisely where RECICLOS comes into play; by managing to understand citizens in the street, who are constantly connected and digitised, and encouraging them to integrate the recycling habit into their daily routines in a way that is easy and familiar to them. RECICLOS also provides them with social and environmental benefits, thereby enhancing the environment of which we all form part.
