Gestión y tratamiento de agua | Water management and treatment FuturEnviro | Septiembre/Octubre September/October 2020 www.futurenviro.es 48 Medición precisa y datos de lectura Los responsables de la Ciudad Deportiva del Villarreal CF ante la necesidad de controlar los consumos de agua y evitar al máximo las pérdidas, valoraron varias ofertas con diferentes opciones técnicas que requerían o bien la necesidad de cablear toda la Ciudad Deportiva para tener la información vía bus de comunicación (a través del protocolo M-bus) o bien un mayor coste a nivel de comunicación con la utilización de varios dispositivos GSM para disponer de los datos en el centro de gestión de las instalaciones. Sin embargo Sensus, a través de su partner local ALECAS, perteneciente al grupo SESAELEC, presentó una solución más eficiente que permitía cubrir además otras necesidades a las planteadas inicialmente. Tras analizar todas las propuestas, decidieron optar por Sensus ya que, por un lado, les ofrecía la posibilidad de tener un solo punto de almacenaje de las lecturas, con la mejora económica que ello conllevaba en el ahorro de dispositivos GSM, y por otro por la comunicación radio entre los equipos y el Gateway SensusRF (punto de concentración), sin necesidad de instalar repetidores de señal radio dada las características del entorno y la amplitud de señal ofrecida por la solución radio de Sensus. Se buscaba, por lo tanto, una solución de control efectivo y eficiente de los consumos de agua y potenciales incidencias, para ello lo principal es la eficiencia y exactitud del punto de medida. Así la solución instalada en la Ciudad Deportiva del Villarreal CF es la de sensores iPERL para los diámetros hasta DN40 y MeistreamRF para diámetros mayores, así como un punto de recogida, GateWay SensusRF, un dispositivo compacto para comunicación en red radio fija hasta el centro de gestión de datos. Se trata de un sistema de comunicación por radiofrecuencia y envío de las lecturas al sistema de Sensus a través de una única tarjeta GSM/GPRS. El contador MeistreamRF de Sensus proporciona un alto valor añadido a nivel de medición en tecnologíaWoltmann, algo inigualable hoy día en el mercado, a la vez que permite optimizar el rendimiento de las redes en las que sea instalado. Por su parte el sensor iPERL aporta fiabilidad y garantía a esta red de agua al ser un medidor estático, que no cuenta con partes móviles y que permite lecturas totalmente precisas. El conjunto entre iPERL y MeistreamRF con comunicación y registrador de datos integrados, proporciona a la Ciudad Deportiva del Villarreal CF Precise metering and reading data The management team at the Ciudad Deportiva del Villarreal CF had to address the need to control water consumption and minimise water losses. They studied a number of bids with different technical options, which required either the need to wire the entire sports city in order to receive the data via communications bus (through the M-bus protocol) or incur the even higher communications costs associated with the implementation of several GSM devices in order to receive the data at the management centre of the facility. However, Sensus, through local partner ALECAS, which belongs to the SESAELEC group, offered a more efficient solution, which, in addition, would enable needs other than those initially envisaged to be satisfied. Having analysed all the proposals, it was decided to opt for Sensus. On the one hand, this solution offered the possibility of having just a single storage point for readings data, with all the financial advantages associated with not having to invest in GSM devices. Moreover, radio communication between devices and the SensusRF Gateway meant that repeaters would not have to be installed, due to the characteristics of the environment and the signal bandwidth of the Sensus radio solution. The objective was to find an effective, efficient system to control water consumption and potential incidents. To achieve this, efficiency and exactitude at the metering point is of primary importance. The solution installed at the Ciudad Deportiva del Villarreal CF features the implementation of iPERL sensors for diameters of up to DN40 and MeistreamRF meters for larger diameters, along with the SensusRF Gateway data collection point. The SensusRF is a compact device for fixed wireless network communication with the data management centre. This radio frequency communications system transmits the meter reading data to the Sensus system through a single GSM/GPRS card. The Sensus MeistreamRF offers high added value metering with Woltman technology and is unrivalled in today’s market in terms of optimising network performance. The iPERL sensor, a static meter with no moving parts, provides reliability and security to water networks and enables completely accurate readings. Dada la gran amplitud de la ciudad deportiva, surge la necesidad de llevar un control exhaustivo de los consumos de agua en las diferentes dependencias de la Ciudad Deportiva del Villarreal CF, así como de poder detectar posibles fugas u otras incidencias en tiempo real. Es por esta razón que los responsables de mantenimiento de este complejo deportivo se plantearon el cambio de la tecnología de contadores mecánicos que tenían anteriormente, que además no permitían realizar ningún tipo de control, ni gestión de consumos de forma automatizada, por la tecnología de Sensus para una medición fiable, precisa e inteligente. It has a surface area of 70,000 square metres and eight football pitches. Because of its large size, it is vital to control water consumption strictly in the different areas of the complex, as well as to detect potential leaks and other incidents in real time. For this reason, those responsible for maintenance at the sports complex took the decision to change the mechanical meters previously installed, which did not enable any form of automatic control or management of consumption, and replace them with Sensus technology for precise, reliable smart metering.
