Bioenergía | Bioenergy FuturEnviro | Marzo/Abril March/April 2020 www.futurenviro.es 71 REGATRACE ( Renewable GAs TRAde Centre in Europe ) es un Consorcio Europeo formado por 15 socios de 10 países europeos (Alemania, Austria, Bélgica, España, Estonia, Irlanda, Italia, Lituania, Polonia y Rumanía), en el cual la Asociación Española de Biogás (AEBIG) como representante en España de la Asociación Europea de Biogás (EBA), trabajan conjuntamente para desarrollar y apoyar el desarrollo del mercado de biometano y los gases renovables en Europa. El Consorcio Europeo REGATRACE tiene como objetivo desarrollar el mercado europeo del gas renovable y la creación de un sistema de comercio eficiente basado en la emisión y comercialización de Garantías de Origen (GdO) de biometano y otros gases renovables. Esto contribuirá en gran medida al desarrollo del mercado común europeo del biometano. Este Consorcio Europeo está financiado por la Comisión Europea dentro del programa de Investigación e Innovación Horizon 2020. AEBIG lidera en España la comisión de stakeholders nacionales (como relevantes expertos clave en el sector), que al igual que en cada uno de los 7 países europeos, conformarán la visión estratégica y la hoja de ruta a medio plazo para el desarrollo del sector de los gases renovables en cada país, con armonización de la Asociación Europea de Biogás (EBA). Así, esta comisión de stakeholders nacionales debatirá y elaborará los correspondientes documentos de: • Visión estratégica a largo plazo para el biometano • Hoja de ruta nacional del biometano REGATRACE (Renewable GAs TRAde Centre in Europe) is a European project with a consortiummade up of 15 partners from 10 European countries (Germany, Austria, Belgium, Spain, Estonia, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Poland and Romania). As Spain’s representative in the EBA, AEBIG is working within the framework of the project consortium to support the development of the market for biomethane and renewable gases in Europe. The European REGATRACE project seeks to develop the European renewable gas market and create an efficient trading system based on the issuance of biomethane and renewable gases Guarantees of Origin (GoO). This will contribute greatly to the development of a common European biomethane market. This REGATRACE project is funded by the European Commission within the framework of the Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Programme. AEBIG is leading the commission of national stakeholders in Spain (as key experts in the sector). In the same way as in each of the 7 European target countries, this commission will draw up the strategic vision and medium-term roadmap for the development of the renewable gases sector in Spain. Alongwith 6 other EU countries also targeted by the project, AEBIG is leading the Spanish commission of national stakeholders for the establishment of a strategic vision and roadmap for biomethane and renewable gases.
