Esta actividad fomenta las actuaciones e inversiones (equipamiento e infraestructura) para incrementar las capacidades humanas y tecnológicas de investigación, especialmente en los terceros países. Actividad 3.2 Apoyo a la I+D de centros de investigación, emprendedores y pymes de base tecnológica en materia de desalación de agua y el nexo agua-energía (startups). Esta actividad tiene por objetivo atraer y apoyar a investigadores de todo el mundo dedicados a la desalación y el nexo agua-energía. Mediante una adecuada promoción, divulgación de las capacidades y servicios, foros de inversión, etc. se quiere contribuir a crear la próxima generación de soluciones tecnológicas en el sector, aprovechando la fuerza transformadora del emprendimiento, apoyando a científicos, emprendedores y pymes que tengan ideas y/o proyectos de soluciones tecnológicas disruptivas en su camino al mercado. El proyecto E5DES permitirá con sus actividades dar continuidad a los trabajos iniciados en el marco de la iniciativa DESAL+, cofinanciada también por el Programa MAC 2014-2020, que de forma coordinada se realizan en el marco dela plataforma de I+D+i DESAL+ LIVING LAB, un ecosistema abierto de I+D+i que reúne todos los recursos existentes de investigación e innovación industrial de la Macaronesia del sector desalación, aglutinando el conocimiento de investigadores altamente cualificados. distillation, capacitive deionisation, etc. SPECIFIC OBJECTIVE 3:To capitalise on the R&D&i carried out in order to acquire greater international visibility and recognition, and to reinforce the DESAL+ LIVING LAB Platform through projects for the testing, verification and innovation of technology in the field of desalination and the blue economy, with emphasis on entrepreneurs, SMEs and research centres.
