¿Qué prentendemos conseguir con el proyecto life newest (life16 env/ es/000156)? El objetivo principal es la demostración industrial de una nueva tecnología innovadora y respetuosa con el medio ambiente. Centrada en la eliminación de fósforo total de las aguas residuales en depuradoras urbanas e industriales. El fango obtenido en este proceso, se utilizará en los procesos de biometanización para producir biogás y mejorar la aplicación del fango en agricultura. ¿Cuáles son los objetivos de newest? • Eliminar el uso de coagulantes inorgánicos, de carácter corrosivo y peligroso, como es el cloruro férrico en el tratamiento de aguas residuales. Sustituyéndolos por productos naturales de origen vegetal que se desarrollarán y fabricarán durante el transcurso del proyecto. • Asegurar la replicabilidad y transferencia de la tecnología propuesta y la difusión de los resultados obtenidos en la UE por medio de: • Implementación de la tecnología durante la realización del proyecto, a escala real, en España, Holanda y Alemania. • Proporcionar una solución eficiente, económicamente, rentable y medioambientalmente sostenible para la eliminación de fósforo total en aguas residuales depuradas, en línea con la Directiva 2000/60/CE y con las prioridades del programa LIFE. ¿Cómo lo vamos a conseguir? Para conseguir los objetivos marcados se ha desarrollado un Plan de Trabajo, consistente en: 1. Acciones preparatorias. 2. Acciones de implementación. 3. Maximización del reciclaje y la reutilización. 4. Monitorización y evaluación del impacto. 5. The main objective is industrial demostration of a new, eco-friendly technology to remove total phosphorus from wastewater at urban and industrial wastewater treatment plants. The sludge obtained in this process will be used in biomethanisation processes to produce biogas and improve the application of sludge in agriculture. What are the goals of life newest? • To do away with the use of corrosive and hazardous inorganic coagulants, such as ferric chloride, in wastewater treatment and replace such coagulants with natural products of vegetable origin, developed and manufactured during the course of the project. • To ensure the reproducibility and transfer of the proposed technology and to disseminate the results obtained in the EU through: • Implementation of the technology on a real scale during the course of the project in Spain, the Netherlands and Germany. • To provide an efficient, cost-effective and environmentallysustainable solution for the removal of total phosphorus in treated wastewater, in accordance with Directive 2000/60/ EC and the priorities of the LIFE Programme. How are we going to achieve these goals? A working plan consisting of the following elements has been developed to achieve these goals: 1. Preparatory actions. 2. Implementation actions. 3. Egevasa y gomsl socios del proyecto, forman parte del grupo global omnium, empresa que centra su actividad en la gestión integral del agua. Este grupo aporta servicio a más de 300 municipios, facilita el abastecimiento de agua potable a 3 millones de personas y trata las aguas residuales a cerca de 3 millones de habitantes.
