En este Plan se enmarcan las acciones en las que trabajamos dentro de los objetivos a cumplir, y se establecen indicadores cuantitativos de consecución para que sea trazable y medible nuestra contribución. Tenemos claro que siempre hay que aportar un poco más, crecer y avanzar con el entorno, por lo que lo que todas las acciones se dirigen a convertirnos en un motor esencial de la transformación positiva a escala local. Por ejemplo, gran parte de nuestras acciones se dirigen a luchar contra el cambio climático, que está normalizando situaciones de inundaciones y sequía, o a paliar la desaparición de algunas especies, que avanza a ritmo acelerado. Todo este nuevo orden de cambios rápidos, exigen empresas fuertes y comprometidas. Nuestro management se centra en maximizar nuestro potencial, transformarnos digitalmente con responsabilidad global y desde el COMPROMISO. La gestión de la eficiencia hídrica en el ahorro del agua (implantación de modelos de economía circular, biofactorías y reutilización, la emisión cero de residuos, la telelectura, el telecontrol de las redes, el aumento del rendimiento de las redes, la eficiencia energéticas y nuevos fuentes de energía, buscando el reaprovechamiento constante de los recursos, y la concienciación ciudadana deben unirse a que nuestras ciudades tienen que contar con unas infraestructuras capaces de poder adaptarse y superar este tipo de episodios. Ello requiere, en la mayoría de los casos, grandes inversiones, que tienen que venir de la mano de alianzas y colaboraciones públicoprivadas. Además, estas actuaciones van a contra reloj, ya que, si su puesta en marcha se dilata en el tiempo hará que las inversiones necesarias para acometerlas sean mucho mayores. Nuestras infraestructuras envejecen y nuestra reposición de estas es baja, en contraposición a lo que el cuidado cada vez más exigente del agua demanda. Pero hay mucho más que infraestructuras. Estamos trabajando en hacer ciudades que afronten el cambio climático con transilicencia, apoyándonos en la tecnología, en la digitalización y activando alianzas de aporten valor y sinergias. Estamos obligados a optimizar, a ser cada vez más smart, a tener una gestión más inteligente. Y todo esto sólo tiene un camino viable: la sostenibilidad. Queremos emplear todo el potencial de la empresa en mejorar la ciudad y la calidad de vida de su ciudadanía. La gestión del ciclo del agua es clave, y trabajamos para transformarnos en gestores del territorio, catalizadores e impulsores para avanzar hacia ese mundo mejor que soñamos. Es una gran responsabilidad dedicarnos a gestionar lo más maravilloso que hay en el planeta: el agua. Our infrastructures are getting old and renovation is slow, in contrast to the urgent need for greater care of the water resource. But there is much more than infrastructure.We are working to create cities that address climate change with transilience, supported by technology, digitisation and the activation of alliances that provide value and synergies. We are obliged to optimise, to be increasingly smart and to implement more intelligent management. And there is only one viable path for all of this: sustainability.We want to use all the potential of the company to improve the city and the quality of life of its citizens. Urban water cycle management is of key importance and we are working to transform ourselves into territorial managers, into catalysts and drivers in order to advance towards that better world of which we dream. It is a great responsibility to manage the most wonderful thing on the planet: water, and our commitment is to convert this task into an engine for the future of our society and our cities.
