Los generamos en nuestros hogares, pero también en el trabajo y en los lugares de ocio a los que acudimos. Por ello, al igual que separamos los residuos en nuestros hogares, es importante poder tener la posibilidad de reciclar de manera correcta todos los que generamos cuando estamos fuera. Fuera del hogar, donde más residuos se generan, en especial de envases ligeros, es en los eventos multitudinarios como festivales de música, fiestas locales o competiciones deportivas, entre otros. En estos espacios es necesario que la ciudadanía pueda acceder al reciclaje de residuos, para lo cual las administraciones locales necesitan medios para su recogida, pero, sobre todo, ser ágiles y flexibles. Así surge “el contenedor ligero”, una iniciativa promovida por Ecoembes, la organización medioambiental sin ánimo de lucro que promueve la economía circular a través del reciclaje de los envases. El proyecto nace dentro del marco del Programa IDEA, una iniciativa de innovación e intraemprendimiento que consiste en la elaboración, por parte de sus trabajadores, de nuevas propuestas enfocadas a mejorar la gestión de los residuos y promover la economía circular. En su tercera edición se presentaron 80 candidaturas y “El Contenedor Ligero” fue la propuesta ganadora en 2018. Del proyecto a la puesta en marcha Con el ánimo de solucionar el problema del reciclaje en los eventos multitudinarios, los emprendedores Isabel Tennenbaum, David García y Pablo Mariñas idearon un contenedor a partir de la adaptación de los big bag de rafia. El objetivo de este contenedor es servir tanto de complemento a los puntos de recogida habituales como a nuevas soluciones de recogida selectiva durante todo tipo de celebraciones. Así, se evitan las grandes acumulaciones de residuos y se reduce su impacto medioambiental. Además, es posible emplear “El contenedor ligero” como sustituto puntual de los contenedores ubicados en vía pública cuando sea necesaria su reparación o limpieza. El primer prototipo La idea era buena, ahora había que probarla. De este modo, en septiembre de 2018 se fabricó un primer prototipo para ponerlo a prueba en las fiestas locales del municipio de Navarredonda de Gredos (Ávila) y comprobar así si la idea de adaptaba a las necesidades de la sociedad.
