Estas jornadas están dirigidas a todas las empresas que participan en el proyecto, y abiertas a todas las empresas del sector primario e industrial hortofrutícola andaluz que quieran conocer de primera manos los trabajos que se están realizando en las cinco empresas finalmente seleccionadas para una posible replicación de los sistemas que emplean en sus compañías. La Federación Española de Industrias de Alimentación y Bebidas (FIAB) y el Centro Tecnológico AINIA visitaron las cinco firmas (CASI, ParqueNat, Cortijo Cuevas, Coprohnijar y Caparrós Nature) que, bajo la dirección de AINIA, ya iniciaron los trabajos. Estas labores se centran en la identificación de residuos inorgánicos, en el caso de la industria enfocado fundamentalmente a la reducción de plásticos, y en determinar las nuevas tecnologías, materiales o mejores prácticas que más de adecúen a las necesidades empresariales del sector de transformación, procesado y comercialización hortofrutícola en la región de Andalucía, poniendo el foco principalmente en el envase y embalaje, logística, etc.. Durante la jornada, expertos y empresas debatieron sobre las aplicaciones e investigaciones de este proyecto, enfocadas al uso de nuevas tecnologías, nuevos materiales de envasado y mejores prácticas disponibles. These workshops are aimed at all companies participating in the project. They are also open to all businesses operating in the primary sector and horticultural product sector in Andalusia that wish to acquire first-hand knowledge of the work being carried out in the five companies finally selected. This will enable them to assess potential replication of the systems in their companies. The Federación Española de Industrias de Alimentación y Bebidas (Spanish National Association of Food and Beverage Companies - FIAB) and the AINIA Technology Centre visited the five companies (CASI, ParqueNat, Cortijo Cuevas, Coprohnijar and Caparrós Nature), which, under the management of AINIA, have now commenced work. This work focuses on the identification of inorganic waste (in this industry, the emphasis is mainly on reduction of plastics) and in determining the new technologies, materials or best practices most suited to the business needs of the horticultural products transformation, processing and marketing sector in the region of Andalusia. The main emphasis is on packaging and logistics, etc. During the workshop, experts and company representatives discussed the applications and research work associated with the project, which is geared to the use of new technologies, new packaging materials and best available practices. The event featured the institutional participation of the Regional Government of Andalusia, which outlined its strategy in this area. Presentations were made by technical experts in the sector, who explained the work in progress within the framework of the project and the innovations that can be implemented. In addition, technical specialists from the primary sector presented R&D&i breakthroughs associated with the reduction of this type of waste.
