En este panel participarán algunas de las principales protagonistas de la industria mundial del agua. Las panelistas compartirán sus experiencias y reflexiones sobre cómo han construido su carrera, compartiendo sus mayores logros y desafíos. También proporcionarán su perspectiva sobre sobre el futuro del sector y cómo la industria puede convertirse en una incubadora para alentar a más mujeres a apostar por una carrera profesional en el sector del agua. Miriam Balaban, secretaria general de la EDS (European Desalination Association); Fatme Awale, Ministra del Agua de Mombasa; Annelise Avril, CEO Suez Consulting; Menatalla Sadek, CEO Hassam Allam Utilities, y Sazam Al Rakaf, Ministra del Agua de Kuwait, serán las participantes de este encuentro que estará moderado por Borja Blanco CEO de Aqua Advise. Some of the leading experts in the global water treatment industry will take part in the discussion. The panellists will share their experiences and reflect on how they have built their careers, whilst also discussing their greatest achievements and challenges. They will also offer their views on the future of the sector and how it can become an incubator to encourage more women to opt for a career in the water industry. Miriam Balaban, Secretary General of the European Desalination Association (EDA); Fatme Awale, Minister for Water of Mombasa County, Kenya; Annelise Avril, CEO at Suez Consulting; Menatalla Sadek, CEO at Hassam Allam Utilities; and Samzam Al Rakaf, Kuwaiti Minister of Water, will participate in this discussion panel, which will be chaired by Borja Blanco, CEO at Aqua Advise. The aim of the event is to promote the participation of more and more women in the water sector, to foster networking and to discuss ideas on how to give women in the sector a higher profile. The Panel Discussion also seeks to promote initiatives designed to give the water sector more visibility and to foster specialisation in the water industry amongst women’s groups, in addition to providing the necessary training, mentoring and skills to facilitate this.
