Gestión y tratamiento de agua | Water management and treatment FuturEnviro | Junio June 2019 www.futurenviro.es 69 Mediante la implantación de nuevas tecnologías y la mejora de procesos organizativos y productivos, se han conseguido generar operativas de funcionamiento más sostenibles y respetuosas con el medioambiente, reduciendo a la vez costes ineficientes en el medio plazo. Este plan operativo de mejora de la eficiencia en la gestión del ciclo integral del agua tiene carácter trienal y abarca la totalidad de los Servicios de Abastecimiento de Agua y Saneamiento, Estaciones de Tratamiento de Agua Potable y Residual e Instalaciones Desaladoras de Agua de Mar que ACCIONA gestiona en España, donde presta servicio a más de 2,7 millones de usuarios. En su definición y en su implementación ha participado un equipo multidisciplinar de ACCIONA, en estrecha colaboración con los responsables de los contratos. En él se incluyen las actuaciones a realizar, el cronograma de ejecución y revisiones periódicas de cumplimiento. Tras la fase de diseño y definición de las tareas a realizar, en junio de 2018 se inició una fase piloto de cuatro meses en diferentes instalaciones y servicios gestionados por ACCIONA: el Servicio de Agua y Alcantarillado de Villarrubia de los Ojos (Ciudad Real); la Estación Depuradora de Aguas Residuales de Arroyo Culebro (Madrid), y la IDAM de Jávea (Alicante). Una vez concluida la fase piloto en septiembre del pasado año, comenzó la primera fase del proyecto, que duró hasta final de 2018 y que se centró en las unidades de negocio más importantes o que presentaban un mayor margen de mejora. A principios de este año, ACCIONA ha puesto en marcha la fase final del proyecto con el resto de unidades, que continuará en 2020 en las empresas participadas en España e internacionales. La iniciativa genera ahorros anuales de agua superiores a 1,6 hm3, reduce el consumo de energía en 7,4 GWh/año, y evita la emisión a la atmósfera de 1.597 toneladas de CO2 al año The initiative generates annual water savings of more than 1.6 hm3, reduces energy consumption by 7.4 GWh/year, and avoids the emission of 1,597 tonnes of CO2 to the atmosphere every year. Mejora del rendimiento hidráulico y energético Entre los principales resultados obtenidos destaca la mejora del rendimiento hidráulico de la red mediante la implantación de un sistema de telecontrol basado en sistemas de geolocalización GIS y en modelos matemáticos. Además, se ha recurrido al uso de prelocalizadores acústicos, correladores y smart balls; y se han llevado a cabo diferentes acciones específicas como campañas de búsquedas nocturnas de fugas, control de mínimos nocturnos y regulación de presiones por sectores, en día/noche y/o según demanda. Early this year ACCIONA started the final phase of the project in the remaining units, and it will continue in 2020 in the company’s subsidiaries in Spain and abroad. PLAN DE EFICIENCIA Y MEJORA DE LA GESTIÓN DEL CICLO INTEGRAL DEL AGUA Con el objetivo de mejorar la calidad del servicio y la satisfacción de sus clientes, ACCIONA ha puesto en marcha un proyecto para optimizar la gestión del ciclo integral del agua que, durante su primer año en funcionamiento, ya arroja importantes beneficios medioambientales: reduce el consumo de agua, de energía y las emisiones de CO2 emitidas a la atmósfera.
