www.futurenviro.es FuturEnviro | Marzo March 2019 5 Editorial Editorial Hagamos viral el reciclaje Seguro que ya conoces el nuevo reto viral de moda “Trashtag Challenge”, un reto que consiste en limpiar espacios naturales llenos de basura para dejarlos impolutos. Las redes sociales se llenaron de fotos de estos espacios antes y después de la recogida de basuras que los contaminaban. Un reto viral realmente útil y que nos alegra ver como cada vez somos más las personas que se preocupan y ocupan, en aportar su granito de arena para salvar y proteger el Planeta. Cabe destacar un reciente informe del Banco Mundial, titulado What aWaste 2.0: A Global Snapshot of SolidWaste Management to 2050 (Los desechos 2.0: Un panorama mundial de la gestión de residuos sólidos hasta 2050), en el que alerta que si no se adoptan medidas urgentes, para 2050 los residuos a nivel mundial crecerán un 70 % con respecto a los niveles actuales. Hay que ponerse manos a la obra para reducir nuestra generación de residuos, y gestionar y tratar con la mayor eficiencia y bajo parámetros de economía circular aquellos que se generen. Por nuestra parte, comenzamos este primer número de residuos de 2019 con nuestras ya asentadas y muy consultadas Guía de pre-trituradores estacionarios y móviles para plantas de reciclaje, Guía de Separadores de corriente de Foucault, Guía de separadores magnéticos y Guía de separadores ópticos. Además, este número lo completamos de nuevo con unas páginas sobre cribas de doble piso o malla elástica que nos venían demandando las ingenierías y desarrolladores de plantas de tratamiento y gestión de residuos. Unas guías actualizadas, completas, sencillas y útiles que recogen las principales características de los diferentes equipos ofrecidos por los principales fabricantes nacionales e internacionales. Estas guías se presentan en forma de tabla de datos, en las que, de un simple vistazo, se conozcan y comparen las características técnicas de los equipos. Guías dirigidas especialmente a ingenierías, desarrolladores “llave en mano”de plantas de reciclaje, administraciones públicas de carácter provincial, autonómico y nacional, y en definitiva cualquier ente dedicado a la gestión, tratamiento y valorización de residuos. En FuturENVIRO, hacemos una escuchar activa de las necesidades del sector, mediante un diálogo fluido con los actores principales de la gestión y tratamiento de los residuos y desde nuestra revista bilingüe FuturENVIRO, aportamos nuestro granito de arena para hacer viral el reciclaje y la protección de nuestro Planeta. Let’s making recycling go viral I am sure that you already know of “Trashtag Challenge”, a new trending viral challenge that consists of cleaning rubbish from natural spaces and leaving them in perfect condition. The social media are full of photos of these spaces before and after the collection of the waste that contaminates them. A truly useful viral challenge and we are pleased to see that more and more of us who care about the Planet are doing our bit to protect and save it. It is worth highlighting a recent World Bank report entitled “What aWaste 2.0: A Global Snapshot of SolidWaste Management to 2050”, which warns that if urgent measures are not adopted, global waste will grow by 70% between now and 2050. We need to get down to work on reducing the quantity of waste we produce, as well as managing and treating the waste we do produce with greater efficiency and within the parameters of the circular economy. In this respect, our first waste treatment and management issue of 2019 features our consolidated and much-consulted Guides to Stationary & Mobile Primary Shredders for recycling plants, Eddy Current Separators, Magnetic Separators and Optical Sorters. And once again, we complete the issue with a number of pages devoted to double-deck or elastic mesh (flip-flop) screens, a section which engineering companies, and developers of waste management and treatment plants have been requesting of us for some time. Simple, comprehensive, useful, up-to-the-minute technical guides to the main features of the different equipment offered by leading national and international manufacturers, these guides are presented in the form of a data table to enable the main technical features of all the shredders and separators on the market to be examined and compared at a glance. The guides are particularly aimed at engineering companies, developers of turnkey recycling plants, national, provincial and regional public authorities, and ultimately all organisations involved in waste management, treatment and recovery. In addition to actively listening to the needs of the sector by maintaining fluid dialogue with the main actors in waste management and treatment, we at the bilingual publication FuturEnviro are doing our bit to make recycling go viral and protect our Planet.
