Desde aquí queremos dar las gracias a Manuel Fariñas, Juan Antonio García Arroyo, Mª Carmen García, José Antonio Medina, Juan María Sánchez y Miguel Torres por su participación desinteresada en este proyecto. Así como a nuestros asociados por la cesión de las imágenes que han hecho posible este documento audiovisual con el que queremos acercar la desalación a un público más amplio. Por otro lado, Valencia fue la ciudad elegida por IDA (International Desalination Association) para la celebración, en colaboración con AEDyR, de su segunda Conferencia Internacional sobre Reutilización y Reciclaje. Bajo el lema ‘Making every drop count’, el evento puso el debate sobre la realidad del sector, la importancia de los marcos regulatorios y las nuevas soluciones de financiación. Y es innegable que se superaron expectativas, con una intensa participación de delegados procedentes de 29 países, y todo ello en un marco inmejorable, ya que la costa mediterránea española es una de las zonas europeas que más agua reutilizada produce. Y comienza 2019. En AEDyR lo hacemos con energías renovadas y consolidando nuestra presencia online con nuevos perfiles en redes sociales. Próximamente también lanzaremos un blog en nuestra página web. Esta nueva identidad digital de AEDyR tiene como objetivos prioritarios visibilizar aún más el trabajo de nuestros asociados, así como acercar a un público más amplio la realidad de la desalación y reutilización de agua en España y en el mundo. Por otro lado, la quinta edición del curso online de Especialista en Desalinización y Reutilización del Agua impartido por la Universidad de Alicante, en colaboración con AEDyR, ya ha abierto su periodo de matriculación. Se trata del único título universitario oficial específico sobre estas materias y, teniendo en cuenta el gran presente y futuro del sector, esperamos que la demanda nacional e internacional siga aumentando, como viene haciéndolo en las últimas ediciones. También tenemos planificadas dos jornadas técnicas a lo largo de este año. De momento, podemos adelantar que, dado el éxito de las ediciones anteriores, celebraremos la tercera edición de la jornada sobre el ‘Empleo de Nuevos Materiales y Productos en Desalación y Reutilización’. Será el 22 de mayo, en el emblemático Colegio de Ingenieros de Caminos, Canales y Puertos. AEDyR comienza 2019 con la misma ilusión que lo hizo hace ahora 21 años. Seguiremos trabajando para ofrecer a nuestros asociados un mejor servicio y para impulsar la investigación y el desarrollo de las tecnologías de desalación y reutilización de aguas, consolidando además la divulgación del conocimiento sobre este sector a la sociedad española. And 2019 has begun. At the AEDyR, we begin the year with renewed energy and we have consolidated our presence online with new social network profiles. And we will also launch a blog on our website in the near future. This new digital identity for the AEDyR has the main objectives of endowing the work of our members with even greater visibility and bringing the reality of desalination and water reuse in Spain and worldwide to a wider public. In addition, the matriculation period has commenced for the online course “Specialist in Desalination and Reuse of Water” offered by the University of Alicante, in collaboration with the AEDyR. This is the only specific official University qualification in this field and, bearing in mind the great present and future prospects of the sector, we expect national and international demand for places to continue growing, as has been the case in previous editions.
