www.futurenviro.es FuturEnviro | Diciembre 2018-Enero 2019 December 2018-January 2019 39 A fondo: Análisis 2018 | In depth: Analysis of 2018 La iniciativa de formación con la que, desde 2015, cuenta SIGAUS, la entidad encargada en España de la gestión del aceite industrial usado, el Aula Ambiental SIGAUS, está cerrando a lo largo de este curso académico un buen número de acuerdos y convenios de colaboración con distintas universidades y centros de Formación Profesional con el objetivo de que los futuros profesionales de los sectores de la ingeniería, la industria y la automoción se enfrenten a un mercado laboral cada vez más exigente con las competencias técnicas suficientes para abordar los retos relacionados con la correcta gestión de uno de los residuos más peligrosos que se encontrarán, sin duda, en el día a día de su vida laboral. Llegar a los futuros profesionales de los sectores de la industria y la automoción que actualmente se encuentran cursando alguno de los grados universitarios, Master de Postgrado y Grados Superiores de Formación Profesional relacionados con estas especialidades, es el objetivo del Aula Ambiental SIGAUS a lo largo del curso 2018-2019. Una iniciativa que se está haciendo realidad a través de distintos Convenios de Colaboración, ya firmados o enmarcha para su próxima formalización, y gracias a los que estos alumnos y muchos profesionales en activo podrán recibir una tecnificación concreta en lo que se refiere al manejo, almacenamiento y retirada del residuo de aceite industrial. Y es que todos ellos se enfrentarán,más tarde omás temprano, a este residuo peligroso a la hora de desempeñar su labor cotidiana; tanto en un establecimiento de reparación de automóviles, como en cualquier instalación industrial, planta de producción o mecanizado, e incluso en una planta de energía renovable, una presa, o cualquier instalación de calderas en un hospital, un colegio o un gran complejo hotelero. La Universidad Antonio de Nebrija, la UAM, la Universidad del País Vasco, Deusto o el IES Virgen de la Paloma son algunos de los centros educativos que se han sumado ya al Aula Ambiental SIGAUS Hasta el momento, la Universidad Antonio de Nebrija, pionera en España en contar con una Ingeniería Superior en Automoción y Mecánica del Automóvil, la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM), que este año imparte la 17ª Edición de su Máster en GesSIGAUS, the organisation responsible for used industrial oil in Spain, opened its Environmental Classroom in 2015, an initiative aimed at training future professionals. During the current academic year, the SIGAUS Environmental Classroom has entered into a number cooperation agreements with different universities and Vocational Training centres to enable future professionals in the engineering, industrial and automotive sectors to acquire sufficient technical qualifications to address the challenges associated with the correct management of what is one of the most hazardous wastes they will encounter in their daily work. These qualifications will also enable them to be more competitive in an increasingly demanding labour market. The objective of the SIGAUS Environmental Classroom for 20182019 has been to reach future professionals in the industrial and automotive sectors who are currently studying for primary degrees, Master’s degrees and Higher Level Vocational Training qualifications related to these sectors. This initiative is becoming a reality through different cooperation agreements that have already been signed or will be entered into in the near future. Thanks to these agreements, students and many professionals already working in the field will be able to receive specific technical training in the handling, storage and removal of waste industrial oil. The fact is that sooner or later, they will all be faced with this hazardous waste in the course of their daily work, be it in a car repair establishment, an industrial facility, a production or machining plant, a renewable energy plant, a dam, or a boiler installation in a hospital, school or large hotel complex.
