Agragex promotes the export of livestock equipment to Europe at EuroTier

Europe is the first destination of the exports of those manufactured by 142 companies associated with the Spanish Association of Fabricantes-Exportadores of agricultural machinery and its components, systems of irrigation, livestock equipment and post-harvest (Agragex). A key position that the Association wants to push through attendance at EuroTier, the largest trade fair of animal production in the world, which takes place from 16 to 19 November in Germany. In this Edition, 24 companies will be present, in grouped form, under the coordination of Agragex, whose companies are responsible for 90% of the exports of the sector, with the aim of strengthening its presence abroad, especially in a context of crisis marked by the paralysis of the internal market.

Livestock equipment industry is one of the most dynamic international and Spanish agricultural industry. In the year 2009, companies associated with Agragex exported amounting to 221,83 million euros. Agragex, with the support of the Spanish Institute of foreign trade (Icex), has intensified the presence of the Spanish livestock industry in the world during the last months with numerous trade missions, as well as assistance to the most important fairs as EuroTier.
