| Representation and defence of the companies of the sector cárnico of Catalonia. |
Presentación
The Federació Catalan d'Industries of the Carn (FECIC) created in the year 1978 and in the actuality is the Business Organisation that represents and defends the interests of the companies of the sector cárnico in Catalonia.
At present, FECIC groups to some 200 companies that devote so much to the sacrifice of animals of the species: bovine, pork, caprina and equina, as to the despiece of his meats and to the transformation of these meats in products cárnicos elaborated.
Between the activities of FECIC, fits to stand out the defence and representation of this business activity as well as of the companies affiliated in front of the different administrations.
FECIC Also is an entity founder of the Confederation Of Business organisations of the sector cárnico of Spain (CONFECARNE), the business organisation cárnica more important of Spain, with more than 1.000 companies participants.
In the year 1977, FECIC promoted ña creation of the Private Foundation of Industries of the Meat (FIC), non-profit entity that has like aim the competitive improvement of the companies cárnicas.
The Foundation of the Ham Serrano, is another initiative of FECIC, where in the actuality there is more than a hundred of companies ETG Ham Serrano.
