Treatment of polymers: electrons of high power that produce modifications in the polymer
Technology of treatment by electrons of high power: electrons of high power that, by molecular interaction, produce modifications in the polymer.
These modifications can be, depending on the nature of the polymer: reticulación, polymerisation and escisión.
Results of the treatment: improvement of the thermal sensors properties (increases of until 80 °C), improvement of the mechanical properties (resistance to abrasion and wear), improvement of resistance to dissolvent and micronización of PTFE.
Industrial applications: electrical cables, tubes and pipes, components of automation, foams, semiconductors, termoretráctiles and textile industry.
