Portable PC Atex: for hostile environingingments
Xplore Technologies, company distributed by Iberfluid Instruments S.A., has developed the Tablet PC iX104 laptop to be used in hostile environingingments of field and with certification for classified area Zone 2.
The iX104C2 incorporates a powerful CPU Intel Pentium M733 of 1,1GHz and a hard disk of 40 GB, all integrated cheese cheese in a compact screen of 10,4” sensitive to the touch. The screen is of high luminosidad and contrast, TFT colour, with resolution XGA (1024 x 768 píxels). The operating system is Microsoft Windows XP Professional.
The system has of series of an interfase WiFi and in option can instrument with Bluetooth or GSM. It has of interfases USB (2), RJ45/R11 combo, or ports of audio between other possibilities. It is autonomous with a battery of lithium with capacity of operation between 3 and 4 h.
The PC is ATEX II 3 Ex G nA II T6, valid to be used in Zone 2.
The team is extremely robust, with a carcasa of magnesium with systems patented of amortiguamiento, as well as an environingingmental protection IP67. It fulfils with distinct compatible specifications with norms ONE THOUSAND-STD (soldiers), relative to: temperature, thermal sensors shock, humidity (95%), vibration , impacts, etc.
