AEE Awards his annual distinction to Luis Atienza by his contribution to the integration of the wind in network

The Standing committee of the Managerial Board of AEE has taken into account this year, when awarding his maximum distinction, that in 2012 AEE fulfils ten years. And it has valued the advances reached in this period to surpass the barriers in the penetration of the wind in the system, superación that has been possible thanks to the dialogue between REE and the sector, represented by AEE. To make possible this understanding, has been fundamental the attitude, the disposition and the work of Luis Atienza (Boroughs, 1957), president of the company between 2004 and 2012, and of all his team, that turned into a professional challenge make possible the development of the wind power fulfilling the aims of the Plan of Renewable Energies.
Recently have reached records of penetration of the wind by tips of wind power in operation, time production, coverage of the demand during several hours or day that does only some years seemed unfeasible. Today they show the perfect integration of the power of the wind in our electrical system. AEE Is safe that, under the new presidency of REE, the collaboration between the wind sector and the Operator of the System will keep on being the same of fruitful.
