Junkers participates in the day ' renewable energy sources: Spain and the challenge of 2020'

Energy and its impact on the environment are issues of international concern. A concern that in the case of Spain, assumes a special importance, not only by the international commitments undertaken in the field of environment, but also by its dependence on energy from abroad, one of the highest in the EU. For this reason and in order to have a general perspective through the practical experience of its protagonists, their applications and their potential for future development, the community of Madrid, along with the Fundación Mapfre, organized on 22 September a workshop on the topic ' renewable energy: Spain and the challenge of 2020', in which
Junkers participated as a speaker, along with other well-known companies and institutions related to the fields of energy and the environment.

The seminar, which was attended by more than 120 people, including presentations, among others, of the director of the IDAE, Jaume Margarit, renewable energies and the participation of Manuel Ruiz, responsible for formation of Junkers, who made a presentation on the topic of solar thermal energy.
From various perspectives, he showed the situation of Spain in the current energy context, looking at the developments and applications of the different sources of renewable energy sources, environmental incidents and forms of savings, as well as the political, social, technological and economic difficulties that may affect the achievement of the objectives set by the European Union by the year 2020 in renewable energy.
