FERSA renewable energies will grow 28% this year and announces positive results for 2010

Until 2010, the company's strategic plan includes the installation of new 255 megawatts (MW) of wind power, of which 39 per cent will go to the India, a 47% to Spain, 9 per cent to Poland and 5 per cent to Estonia. The new megawatts, 13 are installed this year and 242 in 2010. One of the objectives of the energy company is diversifying the regions in which it operates to reduce risks and find attractive markets for renewables. For example, in Spain installed power of Fersa portfolio will increase from 69% to 55%. Currently, the company has with 138 wind megawatts in operation, 79 in construction, authorized 986 and 1,620 megawatts in promotion. The project portfolio totals - installed and ongoing – is 2.823 megawatts.
