The Managerial Board of AEE appoints president to José López-Tafall

The new president of AEE is director of Regulation of the Group Acciona from May of 2011. Graduate in Economic Sciences by the University of the Basque Country, ingresa by opposition in the Upper Body of Commercial Technicians and Economists of the State in 1989, and occupies distinct charges in the Ministry of Economy and Inland revenue, as the one of general deputy director of Sectorial Politics in the General Steering of Economic Politics. In 1998, it abandons the Administration and incorporates to Retevisión, where occupies the places of director of Institutional Relations and of the Cabinet of the first President and of director of Institutional Relations and Regulation, afterwards.
López-Tafall assumes the presidency of AEE in a moment very complicated for the wind sector. “The moratorium for new parks decreed in 2012 and the recent Royal decree-Law 2/2013, that modifies of retroactive way the conditions for the already existent installations, is having an effect devastador for the sector, that confronts to continuous enclosures of factories and dismissals. The Ministry of Industry and Power has announced that in June will approve the energetic reform, by what the imminent challenge of AEE is to attain that the new regulation do not go against of the interests of the sector”, affirms.
With more than 200 companies associated, AEE represents to more than 90% of the wind sector in Spain.
