The second edition of the Máster in Wind Power of the UNED will begin on 18 January

In front of the needs of the companies of the wind sector to have professional prepared specifically in wind power, the UNED launched in 2009 a program modulate of postgrado in Wind Power with two possibilities: obtain the title of University Expert in Wind Power (for which are necessary 20 credits ECTS) and the one of University Specialist in Wind Power (30 credits). From AEE identified the need to elevate the program to level of Máster, with an exigencia of 60 credits, to end to have equal opportunities offered by the countries of our surroundings, as it is the case of Germany and Denmark.
The program is headed to titled university that wish to purchase or complete a skilled technical learning and of quality in the field of the wind power, in tuning and narrow collaboration with the companies of the sector through AEE, with the end to work in a sector that gives employment to more than 27.000 people. The contents centre in the theoretical and practical knowledges that sue the companies of the sector (description of the wind and estimate of the wind potential; technology of aerogeneradores; promotion, development, design, operation and maintenance of wind parks, covering technological appearances, economic, legal and environingingmental).
In addition to experts of AEE, the educational team is formed by professors of distinct specialitys of the schools of industrial engineers of the UNED and of the Polytechnical University of Madrid.
