Catalan companies and the Fundació CTM Centre Tecnològic initiate the project of R&D Aerosens

The meeting of launching of the project took place in the installations of Prysmian and was led by Lluis Go out, director of Innovation of the company Prysmian Group. The Fundació CTM Centre Tecnològic, that forms part of Tecnio – the only network that improves the technological transfer and the business innovation in Catalonia -, presented the technical aims and the plan of work for the development of the project, that will have a length of 2 years and a budget of 848 one thousand euros.
The aim of this project and consortium is to investigate the behaviour of dynamic cables, incidiendo in his answer to fatigue, the design of new rigidizadores, the integration of sensors of optical fibre and the connection to the aerogenerador to have of robust solutions that allow to export pertinent power of aerogeneradores floating.
This project has the help of the Agency of Support to the Catalan Company (ACC1Or), entity ascribed to the Department of Company and Employment of the Government of Catalonia, and is cofinanciado with European Bottoms of Regional Development (FEDER) of the European Union, in the frame of the Operative Program of Catalonia 2007-2013.
