Vacuum tube solar collectors: the absorbed heat is transmitted directly to the fluid of the solar circuit

Picture of Vacuum tube solar collectors
The transformation of solar radiation into heat energy is produced through the surface of the absorber placed inside a glass tube in which the vacuum has been. The absorber is attached to a series of coaxial copper tubes where the absorbed heat is transmitted directly to the fluid of the solar circuit ('Direct Flow' system). The union between the vacuum tube and the tube collector is performed with a threaded sleeve material resistant to atmospheric phenomena.

Main features:-catcher available in 2.6 m2 and 3.5 m2 (15-20 tubes).

-2 Mm of thickness and or borosilicate glass tubes 70 mm.

-Aluminium profiles.

-Rock wool insulation to the upper collector.

-With sheath for the placement of a tube.

-Non-stick surface treatment.

-Optimizes sun exposure thanks to the tubes admit a rotation of +/-30 °.

-5 year warranty.

Installation:-collector is formed by groups of 5 tubes in series, connected to each other in parallel. So there are 3 groups of 5 tubes in a VDF 15 collector and there are 4 groups of 5 tubes in the VDF 20.

-Said geometry reduces the most losses of load in the collector, allowing to insert batteries up to 120 tubes.
