Presentación
Fronius was founded in 1945 by Günter Fronius in Pettenbach, Austria, where it started manufacturing welding equipment and battery chargers.
From 1995 he began the development of investors, including in the photovoltaic solar energy business.
It currently has five manufacturing plants, all in Europe, and distribution centers in the world.
Employs more than 2500 people, 1900 in Austria.
The percentage of export of the 90 per cent is achieved thanks to the 12 subsidiaries, two representations (Turkey/technique of welding and solar China/electronics) and 130 distributors. Fronius invests the 6.8 per cent of the total sales volume of 370 million euros (fiscal year 2008) in research and development. Fronius holds 585 active patents.
9 Years Fronius is active in the market of Spanish with its solar electronics division.
In the continuous road to excellence and in order to see first hand this market in order to better meet their needs and provide a better service to its customers opened in 2009 the first own Office in Spain.
The new facilities have an area of more than 3,700 m2 and are strategically located to give greater coverage throughout peninsular.
