Photonics Festival: Taiwan shows the world the superiority of technology Photonics

The Vice President of Taiwan, Vincent Siew, yesterday was commissioned to give the go-ahead to a new edition of the Photonics Festival Taiwan 2010, an event of a professional nature that is home mainly to Asian companies expert in photonics.
During his speech, Siew stressed the importance of initiatives such as this, "that make that Taiwan continues to be a world benchmark in technology". It also encouraged companies participating in the fair to "continue the efforts to ensure that the country has more presence in international markets". "We have to unite our efforts and work hard," he stressed. The Vice President of Taiwan thus inaugurated the Hall, which has a total of 400 exhibitors displaying their products and services to more than 40,000 professionals that the Organization expected to visit this year the event.
Regarding Asia in Photonics
The fair, coordinated by the Photonics Industry and Technology Development Association (ask), it is one of about Asians in this area and is divided into four professional events. First, the International Optoelectronics Exposition (Opto Taiwan 2010), the event with greater tradition, which this year reaches its 19th Edition, presents the most innovative in optoelectronic devices and components industry. Another great event framed this year in the Photonics Festival is the sixth edition of the International LED Lighting Exposition (LED Lighting Taiwan 2010), a fair dedicated to the LED technology, showing the latest developments in the sector, both in materials and types of fixations and processing equipment, with applications in areas such as lighting for cars or traffic, among other signals.
The third event of the fair is the International Photovoltaic Exposition (Solar Taiwan 2010), arriving in 2010 for its fourth edition. The show brings together companies more leading edge of this industry, which take advantage of to show their latest innovations in products and solar applications, materials, systems and photovoltaic installations, as well as solar cells and photovoltaic modules.
Finally, the Photonics Festival 2010 welcomes also the fourth edition of the International Precision Optics Exposition (Optics Taiwan), highlights in lenses, modules, materials, computer programs and related optics coating products.
Display Taiwan 2010: the best screens
This year, in addition, the event is held in parallel to the 12th edition of the Taiwan Display, fair with more than 200 exhibitors who picks up the latest screens. This edition boasts outstanding news as the new screen 3D presented by Auto, which, with 65 inches, is the largest of the market to date. As confirmed by the company to Interempresas, this model will be available in the market at the end of the year. The company has also shown a screen able to reproduce images in 2D and 3D, and the other for which do not require special glasses.
