In the series SLC 420, the supresión can realise with all the luminous rays less the one of synchronisation. They offer different functions of supresión: fixed and floating. The way chosen depends on the length of the presence of the object (permanent or temporary) in the field of protection. In this way, the user can adjust the function of flexible form according to each application. These functions have purchased still greater popularity in the practice. In fact, the current tendency to the flexible production also extends to the resguardos without contact. Safety Control GmbH, the Centre of Competition of the Group Schmersal regarding resguardos of optoelectronical hygiene, has developed a new series of optical curtains in which the function of supresión can adjust without need of programs of PC neither devices of programming. In the series SLC 421, these functions remain defined in the way of programming by means of devices of external control. The user activates the way of programming wished by means of a selector of key. The optical curtain is instrumented with a LED that indicates the way of operation. The procedure of programming initiates by means of a device of external control, as for example a switch of pedal. In this way the operator defines the zones to cancel. During the procedure, can choose between supresión fixed or floating, or a supresión fixed with one or two additional rays floating.
